Welcome to Winter Roll-stice Event, San Van’s first Season 2 event, running from Dec 16th - Jan 13th. To ensure you can spend those Snowflakes before they melt, the in-game Winter Roll-stice store will be available until Jan 14, 2026. San Van might be known for its reliably warm and sunny climate, but Winter feels so much more festive with some icy spots and snow machines - and the SVCC’s got you covered. They’ve commissioned all new Community Parks, Challenges, and more to celebrate the snowy season - even if it’s not actually snowing. They’ve even revived an old folk tale with the construction of “The Grippler’s Castle” in Gullcrest Village’s Community Park. Winter Roll-stice runs for 4 weeks, and we’re updating all 3 ImpervaTek community parks with a frosty makeover. When you first log in, you’ll get some sweet wheels - no pun intended - to cruise around on. As you complete your Roll-stice Tasks and Winter Roll-stice Challenges, you’ll be earning Snowflakes - the winter-in-San Van-themed currency used to acquire Winter Roll-stice gear in the Extravert store. We’ve also got Daily login Snowflakes rewards, so make sure to log in daily to grab those Snowflakes. The Winter Roll-stice Challenges will reset midway through the event, after two weeks, giving you more chances to earn Snowflakes! New Tasks are sliding in, themed around the Winter Roll-stice and crafted to showcase special opportunities in each new Community Park! By completing all the Roll-stice Tasks, you'll unlock a special reward in the in-game shop at the end of the event. Remember to claim your well-deserved prize! Some of the cool cosmetics for Winter Roll-stice are comin’ in hot, take a peek. We’re also adding a new type of Build Kit item themed for Winter Roll-stice, the bouncy Christmas tree, that can be obtained with Snowflakes in the second week of Winter Roll-stice, starting Dec 23, 2025. We noticed everyone skating through the previous Event Challenges and Tasks right to the finish, and we don’t want to cut your time on the ice short! So, we’re extending the store an extra 24 hours after the Challenges and Tasks wrap up, giving you more time to glide in and spend your hard-earned Snowflakes. Get in, get your Snowflakes, watch out for the yeti, bundle up, and grab some Winter Roll-stice gear. See you in San Vansterdam, The skate. Team16Views0likes0CommentsThe Weekly Grind - Dec 16, 2025
Welcome back to The Weekly Grind. Let’s get to it! What’s going on? Yesterday we dropped Update 0.29.5 (patch notes here), and today we’re kicking off Winter Roll-stice, our four-week winter event in San Vansterdam. Even in the unusually sunny city of San Van, it’s always cool to chill out in winter, so check out the Winter Roll-stice mini-blog for details, jump into the game, and collect your Snowflakes to get some Winter Roll-stice gear. On Tuesday, Dec 9, San Vanners saw two bundles in the in-game store: our new adidas bundle and the return of The Grim Reaper. You may have noticed that both bundles show a discounted price. The discounted value is based on the SVB cost of the individual items versus the bundled price/total value of the set. For the discounted adidas bundle, available for purchase last week in the in-game store, the bundled items will be rotating individually through the store. For The Grim Reaper, this means: yes, we've heard feedback about unbundling bundles to give you more choice, and that is coming in the future. As we approach the release of the next store update, we'll share more details with you. We recognize that this was confusing, and we'll continue to work on improving our proactive communications to prevent similar situations from occurring. Weekly Calendar Winter Roll-stice Details (Monday) The Weekly Grind! (that’s today) Winter Roll-stice starts! (that’s also today!) Winter Snowglobe Sweeps (kicking off Friday, Dec 19, 2025 in the official skate. Discord) Coming Up: Winter break The team will be spending time with family and friends during the winter holiday season and recharging to get ready for 2026. Therefore, The Weekly Grind will be paused until the week of January 5, 2026. We wish you all happy holidays, a safe and happy New Year, and the steeziest of lines when in San Van. Reminder: Check out the blog for more details and how you can contribute to these skateboarding charitable organizations to help support and continue growing skateboarding globally - and get some in-game gear. More content from the skate. community! As usual, we wanted to share a few pieces of content that caught our eye. Remember: if you want to possibly be featured in The Weekly Grind, make sure to share yours (screenshots, videos, clips) via skate.reel. Spread that buttah, Credit: Dylan Stairset too hard? Nah. Credit: Fitzy Recent Fixes: Full list of 0.29.5 patch notes. Fixed on December 15. Exported replay videos are sometimes stalled if navigating the menus while recording. The board stickers from the skate.pass don't appear on the board while the player is previewing them. Your skater stutters sometimes while performing tricks on a busy server. After spending time in the Settings menu or after changing the graphics lighting setting, shadows and lighting in San Van become inconsistent. Removing any socks or headwear and restarting skate. may cause previously equipped socks or headwear to be re-equipped. Multiple settings sometimes revert to incorrect states when skate. is restarted. Fakie slappies cannot be performed. Skate-o-Ween iconography is accidentally displayed for Own the Lot. Stuck in replay after completing a Mission. Players experienced a black screen with no loading icon during gameplay. Skater skin tone is desaturated for many colours/options. Skate. crashes when equipping and moving around with the Grim Reaper costume. Known Issues Still Being Investigated: Players are unable to progress through tutorial challenges while subtitles are turned off. Workaround: Use the Accessibility Settings via the title menu to turn subtitles on. The player loses SVB while purchasing TIX and receives an unwanted item. Completing standard Challenges incorrectly counts as though you completed a Winter Roll-Stice challenge. Rarely after teleporting to another player, the player will stop seeing traffic, pedestrians and other players. Players claiming missing Founders and Deluxe items. Players gradually become invisible after a certain period of gameplay. The score multiplier takes a lot longer to drain on a loaded game server than an empty one. During the Stop, Quick Drop, and Roll Mission, the fliptrick over cars criteria doesn't seem to track until after you complete all of the other criterias. Often during the tutorial, if you wipeout during the Ollie Course, Vee's line about being off board will loop infinitely. Workaround: Restarting skate. has been reported to fix this issue. Exported videos are longer than their displayed in-game length. There is an additional stuttering issue present when using the replay editor in-game, noticeable as skipped frames. Sometimes, putting the game on fullscreen and leaving it minimized for three or four minutes will prevent the player from re-opening it until the game is restarted. Often the Team Up, Throw Down mission does not end until the player untracks and retracks the mission. The player needs to press the Back button two times for the missions menu to close. The Throwdowns queue timer freezes after all other players leave the queue. When logging out in a community park and logging again, the tasks won´t count. Rarely, when interacting with a player and joining their party, you will accidentally join another player’s party. The speech-to-text feature does not transpose the words correctly. Rarely, the Back button has no functionality, and the player cannot exit the Replay Editor. Stuck on Isle of Grom We’ve previously pushed out a fix so that new players won’t run into this issue, and have continued to help skaters that are stuck so they can enter San Vansterdam. If you still can’t take the ferry, please report it in our mega thread.481Views1like0CommentsUpdate 0.29.5 Patch Notes

Welcome back to The Weekly Grind. Let’s get to it! What’s going on? Season 2 dropped last Tuesday, and the team is working through reports of bugs & issues (with 0.29.5 coming next week), as well as gearing up for the Winter Roll-stice event. With Update 0.29.1, a Quick Drop glitch was patched that we’ve seen some feedback on - let’s be honest, some folks are upset it was addressed. To reiterate our stance on glitches, if they’re not game-breaking and don’t impact game performance, we’re not going after them. Trust us, we enjoy watching the videos of you having fun with some glitches. However, stability and game performance are critical, and if there’s a glitch that does impact those things, the team will work to remove it so a specific glitch doesn’t create issues that could negatively impact everyone else's in-game experience. Two items we want to call out prior to the Update 0.29.5 Patch Notes coming on Friday are: ImpervaTek parks (community parks) will be wood grain going forward. Note: during events like Winter Roll-stice, the parks will be themed for the event, but when the event ends, the parks will have the more natural wood grain. (We heard your feedback!) After Update 0.29.1, we’ve seen a lot of feedback about significant skin tone changes in the character customization. This was not intended as part of the first character update and we’re fixing that with Update 0.29.5. Weekly Calendar The Weekly Grind! (that’s today) Update 0.29.5 Patch Notes Coming Up: ?? We’ve also got new items on skate.Shop - Founder’s Pack and Founder’s Deluxe is gone, but we do have the Welcome Pack, Welcome Pack Deluxe, and the Season 2 Starter Pack. (don’t forget - the bonus is only on the skate.Shop, not in-game) It’s $5 USD, and you get the following: More content from the skate. community! To Be Fixed in Update 0.29.5 (Monday): Stalled exported replay videos if going into the menus while recording. Access to the Social Menu has been moved from a tile in the main hub to the main hub’s top navigation bar. Hold timing and its animation are now consistent on all D-Pad actions. The player's Audio Volume settings will be reset to default values at the beginning of this season. Developer’s Note: This reset allows for easier boosting of music volume through the Toolbar. Own the Lot also includes special season-long Tasks that grant rewards. For more information about Own the Lot, visit our Season 2 article. Developer Note: Own the Lot is tuned for party play. We don’t recommend trying to complete these challenges on your own, and in fact, it will be quite difficult to do as a solo player. Flip Tricks Impossible Flips Front Foot Impossible Flips Nollie Impossible Flips Nollie Back Foot Impossible Flips All Impossible Flips can also be performed as Held, Late, and from Grinds and Manuals Handplant Tricks 14 New Handplant Variants have been added, making for 16 total. Handplants, including One-Foot, No-Foot, and Tweaked Handplants can also be performed in Fakie stance. Handplants can now be held for different durations based on how long you hold the input. Multiple Handplant variants can now be chained back-to-back within the same plant. Developer’s Note: When it comes to Flip Tricks, proper Impossibles have been a common request. So, we've not only added new gestures and animations for base Impossible Flips, but also, new variations like Nollies and Front-Foots to give you more options. On the vert skating side, we've also revamped Handplants to feel better, give more control, and fill out all the missing trick variants we didn't get to at Early Access launch. We’re looking forward to seeing these new additions show up in clips, expand your options for lines, and provide more variation for challenges. We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience and give as much control over your skater and experience as possible. Darkslides and more will be coming in future seasons, but until then, we hope you enjoy these updates and look forward to your feedback so we can keep improving the skating experience. Challenges A bevy of Challenges spread across the Casper Hotel Rooftop, Road Tunnel, Building Roof Patio, and Canal Buildings, and the rest of San Van are powersliding into Season 2. We’ve made big improvements to how we deliver and refresh Seasonal Challenges based on community feedback—Seasonal Challenges will still drop each week, but we’ll also reset them twice over the season, giving you more opportunities to earn Tix. Each individual challenge won’t give quite as many Tix, but over the season you’ll be able to earn more than twice the Tix from Seasonal Challenges, not including the Tix you can also earn from the new Own the Lots. Plus, the amount of challenges dropping per week in Season 2 has been increased. For a full breakdown of these changes, including how many more Tix you’ll earn each season, visit our Season 2 article. Missions Point of Impossibility will bring you underground on a hunt for the place where the Impossible was first landed in San Van. The Mission is unlocked after completion of Shingo's Secret Scoring Tips mission in Tour 2. Completing Point of Impossibility rewards you with 500 Tix and three new Props. Coping Inspector will take you to the rooftops for some Handplant practice at a handful of the newly added rooftop spots, and unlocks after completion of The Gift of Grab mission in Tour 3. Completing Coping Inspector rewards you with 500 Tix, the Coping Inspector title, and a Rooftop Fast Travel Point. Tasks Rotation Changes: Weekly Tasks will last three weeks, giving you time to catch up on any missed Tasks. Seasonal Tasks are now Monthly Tasks. Developer’s Note: This change was made to Seasonal Tasks to inject more variety and rewards into your experience. Auto-claim Task rewards Now, if you forget to manually claim your Task rewards, they will automatically appear within 24 hours of when the Task ended as a login message. New Character Customization Options 5 hair, 2 facial hair, and 3 eye shape customization options have been added to the character creator. Advanced Edit Mode For Replay Editor An Advanced Edit Mode has been added to the Replay Editor with these additional options: Trim replay Add, edit, and navigate keyframes, interpolating between camera types and camera targets. Adjust camera type, target, field of view, tilt, roll, and framing for each keyframe. Export settings have been moved to the Advanced Edit Mode. Party Voice Chat You can now activate Party Voice Chat from the Party Settings, and converse with their party members using a microphone. Whomever is currently speaking will have their name displayed on screen with the appropriate mic status icons. You can choose to mute individual party members and not hear their voice audio. This only affects you, not the rest of the party. Party Beacons Party Up? is now available as a statement in the Communications Wheel. Using this statement drops a beacon in the world that other players can interact with to join your party. Your beacon is automatically cleared when the party is full or if you join another party. skate.Pass Developer’s Note: Community conversations have made it clear that you want more ways to play, earn Tix, and express yourself through cosmetics. In Season 1 the skate.pass was designed to help you earn the items you wanted most. But we learned that many of you enjoy the feeling of completing the skate.Pass from start to finish. For Season 2, we’re aiming to support both approaches. We’ve tuned the amount of Tix required to unlock rewards pages on the skate.Pass. You will also find we added a bit more SVB for you to collect this time around. We’re also actively considering additional places where Tix can be exchanged outside the skate.Pass, such as at Extravert. All in all, the Season 2 skate.Pass will have tighter scaling to promote quicker progression through the earlier pages of the skate.Pass. Legacy skate.Pass Legacy skate.Pass lets you keep progressing and claiming rewards from the premium pass you bought last season while the new season is live. Only your most recent previous premium skate.pass is eligible. Any progress you make from earning Tix will be applied to both your Season 1 Legacy skate.Pass and your Season 2 skate.Pass. News Read up on what’s new in skate. News will display when you enter the game, or can be accessed at any time from the main menu. Vee Reduced frequency and adjusted triggers for Gameplay Vee dialogue. Developer’s Note: We heard your feedback that Vee was commenting a bit too often during free skate. We’ve adjusted both the frequency and timing of Vee’s lines to create a quieter experience. And if you prefer to do your tricks in total silence, the option to fully mute Vee while free skating is still available. SEASON 2 KNOWN ISSUES There is an additional stuttering issue present when using the replay editor in-game, noticeable as skipped frames. This is separate from the exported video issue fixed in the 0.29.1 Patch Notes. Stalled exported replay videos if going into the menus while recording. Sometimes, putting the game on fullscreen and leaving it minimized for three or four minutes will prevent the player from re-opening it until the game is restarted. Often the Team Up, Throw Down mission does not end until the player untracks and retracks the mission. The Throwdowns queue timer freezes after all other players leave the queue. When the player accepts an invitation, the invitation pop-up appears again and an error modal shows up. During Stop, Quick Drop, and Roll Mission the fliptrick over cars criteria doesn't seem to track until after you complete all of the other criterias. Often during the tutorial, if you wipeout during the Ollie Course, Vee's line about being off board will loop infinitely. Workaround: Closing and re-launching the game. The player needs to press the Back button two times for the missions menu to close. Rarely after teleporting to another player, the player will stop seeing traffic, pedestrians and other players. Rarely, the Back button has no functionality, and the player cannot exit the Replay Editor. The board stickers from the skate.pass don't appear on the board while the player is previewing them. The speech-to-text feature does not transpose the words correctly. Rarely, when interacting with a player and joining their party, you will accidentally join another player’s party. Title crashes when/if the players spam the changing tabs buttons in the SKATER menu. Exported videos are longer than their displayed in-game length. Character model stutters sometimes while performing tricks on a busy server. After spending time in the Settings menu or after changing the graphics lighting setting, shadows and lighting in San Van becomes inconsistent. Removing any socks or headwear and restarting skate. may cause previously equipped socks or headwear to be re-equipped. Multiple settings sometimes revert to incorrect states when skate. is restarted.317Views2likes0CommentsThe Weekly Grind - Nov 25, 2025

Before we dive into Season 2’s details, a quick reminder of what you can expect each Season in San Vansterdam: New skateable areas New Challenges and Tasks Seasonal events New tricks and Skatepedia updates New Brand partners Additional cosmetics and customization New tracks to the soundtrack A new skate.Pass (with improvements and tuning) Bug fixes and quality of life improvements With Season 2: Future Radical, we're heading back to the 80s - a time of neon lights, arcade machines, and punk vs. pop. And what better way to experience the vibe of this decade than with your friends? With a new co-op mode and party voice chat, it's never been easier to play together. Plus, there are new skateable areas, our first improvements to the Replay Editor, new and improved tricks, our second World/Visual pass, our first character visual pass, and more. What is in Season 2? 'Tis the Season to throw down with friends, and San Van is better with your pals; that’s where the new co-op mode and Party voice chat really shine. Additionally, the city will undergo a makeover, featuring new, updated skateable areas that will remain after Season 2: the Casper Hotel Rooftop, Eelside Tunnel, Museum of Natural History Roof Patio, and Canal Building, as well as our first improvements to the Replay Editor, new and improved tricks, our second World/Visual pass and our first character visual pass, and more. New Features and Improvements Every season, we update the city, but with Season 2, we’re bringing our second World visual pass, our first Character pass, and Pedestrian improvements. We’re also introducing three new hairstyles and two new facial hair options, and expanding the 'what-to-do' in San Van by adding new Challenges and Missions. Quick note: No, your hearing isn’t going, but we did reset Audio Volume settings to default at the beginning of this season to allow easier boosting of music volume through the Toolbar. New Mode for skate. Welcome to Own the Lot. Inspired by a classic from the series, skate.’s OTL pushes players to complete as many Reqs as possible within a set time limit. To knock out all the Reqs, make sure you collaborate and communicate with your party. This mode is all about teaming up with friends, taking on shared challenges, and owning the streets together. You’ll be able to have groups of 1-4, but it’s definitely intended for at least two players, working to complete as many Reqs as possible within the time limit you set (2-5 minutes). The more Reqs you complete before the time expires, the higher your reward tier. The reward tiers are as follows: Nailed It: Complete five or more Reqs - Reward: 20 Tix Owned It: Complete 10 or more Reqs - Reward: 30 Tix Crushed It: Complete 15 or more Reqs - Reward: 40 Tix Killed It: Complete 25 or more Reqs - Reward: 55 Tix Shut it Down: Complete 40 or more Reqs - Reward: 70 Tix Rewards stack, so if you hit 'Killed It' on your first try, you’ll receive the rewards for 'Killed It' and all tiers below it that you haven’t claimed yet. Just a heads-up, the party scaling/difficulty can be intense. Once you reach Shut it Down, you definitely want a complete 4-person party so you can earn the best rewards. Party Voice Chat and Party Beacons It ain’t a party without Party Voice Chat, and we’re bringing it to San Van. Check out the FAQ dropping on December 3 on Party VC for instructions on setting it up, using the features, and more. Plus, we’re introducing accessibility features for Party VC, including Menu Narration, Text-to-Speech, and Speech-to-Text-to-Text. We have even more party voice chat enhancements in the works to keep the good vibes rolling all season long. We’re also adding Party Beacons via the Comms Wheel to let you drop a beacon in the world to make it easier to signal for and join parties. Once you’ve joined a party, your beacon will clear, and the Party Beacon will clear when the party is full. New & Improved Tricks Season 2 is bringing Impossibles (for the first time in a Skate game), as well as Improved and Expanded Handplants to San Van. Adding these to your repertoire will make you stand out in San Van, so make sure to check the Skatepedia update for details on how to throw them down in a sesh. New Flip Tricks Impossible Flips Front Foot Impossible Flips Nollie Impossible Flips Nollie Back Foot Impossible Flips All Impossible Flips can also be performed as Held, Late, and from Grinds and Manuals New Handplant Tricks Expanding from 2 to 16 total Handplant Variants Handplants, including One-Foot, No-Foot, and Tweaked Handplants, can also be performed Fakie Handplants can now be held for different durations based on how long you hold the input Multiple Handplant variants can now be chained back-to-back within the same plant Replay Editor Our first improvements for the Replay Editor will add an Advanced Editor Mode. This will bring enhanced trimming, keyframes, interpolating between camera types & camera targets, and framing options like roll, tilt, and offset. And we’re not done yet, with even more replay upgrades on the way to level up your clips even further. Dive in. We can’t wait to see the content you create with the new replay editor features, so share it with us on social and community channels, or drop your videos on skate.REEL for a chance to be featured on our carousel. New Settings Hold Fakie Push: If you already liked the hold fakie setting, you’re going to love holding it even after pushing. (How to find it: Settings > Gameplay > Controls) Grind Lean Exit: You can now optionally turn these off to make it easier to get some deep and stylish grind leans without accidentally leaving the grind (How to find it: Settings > Gameplay > Trick Toggles) Maximum Pump Strength: Allows you to control the maximum speed gained from pumping via the Assists menu. Go to Settings > Gameplay > Assists Compass on HUD: You can now hide the Compass by going to Settings > General > Interface Gameplay Improvements Expanded Drop-In Functionality Drop-Ins now work in more situations. Even very tall vertical walls. Transitions from Drop-In to air now look and feel better. Challenges and Tasks Monthly seasonal events aren’t the only thing to do during Season 2. We’ll have 40 new and returning Challenges, as well as Tasks – Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Event tasks. Seasonal progression and the skate.Pass are being updated for a longer season, giving players more ways to earn rewards through rotating Challenges, new Monthly Tasks (with Monthly completion rewards), and Own the Lot Challenges and Tasks. Rewards are being tuned to reflect the increased number of ways to earn them. Daily (4/day) - a list of Tasks that update daily. Weekly (6/week) - a new list of Tasks each week, that last 3 weeks. Monthly (10/month) - larger list of Tasks that last 4-5 weeks. Event (6-10/Week during the Event) - list of new Event-themed Tasks weekly, that reward a specific Event currency. These last until the end of the Event. Own the Lot (4/Season) - Tasks specific to the new Own the Lot challenge type, that last the entire season. We heard your feedback on the lack of new challenges each week for Season 1, and we’re changing how they’re delivered. We’ll still have Seasonal Challenges dropping every week, but we’ll also reset them twice over the Season, giving you more chances (roughly 4x as many as Season 1!) to earn Tix. Each individual challenge won’t provide quite as many Tix, but over the season, you’ll be able to earn more than twice the Tix from Seasonal Challenges, not including the Tix you can also gain from the new Own the Lots. Seasonal Challenges Tuning Details Seasonal Challenge Details Season 1 Season 2 Amateur (3 Tasks/Challenge) 30/Task, 90 Total 14/Tasks, 42 Total Semi-Pro (4 Tasks/Challenge) 30/Task, 120 Total 16/Task, 64 Total Pro (5 Tasks/Challenge) 35-40/Task(based on difficulty), 175-200 Total 18-20/Task (based on difficulty), 90-100 Total Total Possible Challenges 30 120 skate.Pass Progression in Tix (Standard/Premium) 17,900/23,455 19,530/36,826 skate.Pass Total for Standard/Premium 41,495 56,356 Max Earnable Tix (Tasks, Challenges, Missions, Daily Grants) 42,011 76,357* (includes OTL) TL;DR More Challenges per week, which refresh twice over the season, meaning more to do and more than double the overall amount of Tix to earn from Challenges. skate.Pass for Season 2 Quick reminder on the skate.Pass: The skate.Pass has two tracks - the Standard (free) and Premium track - where you earn currency called “Tix” each season to exchange for items from the skate.Pass, which you can get via: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Tasks (including completion bonuses) Seasonal Challenges Own The Lot Tasks and Challenges Daily grants (Premium skate.Pass only) Exchange for San Van Bucks Don’t forget, having the Premium skate.Pass in Season 1 allows you to continue earning progress for the Season 1 pass during Season 2. As noted in our Dev Update in November, we’ve been tuning the skate.Pass and seasons based on community feedback, and as a reminder, here are some of the things we’ve worked on for Season 2: We've tweaked skate.Pass so it will be less of a grind to complete and there’s more to do, with around 100 tiers per season. There’s also a discounted pair of pants (only 1 Tix!) in the skate.Pass. We’ve increased the amount of SVBs granted through the combined Standard (Free) and Premium tracks of the skate.Pass to 500 SVB total. Having a surplus of event currency after Skate-o-Ween was an issue, and we tuned our event economy for 7-Ply Maple Harvest. Those changes will be introduced to the Season 2 events, with further improvements to follow through Early Access. skate.Pass Premium can only be obtained from the in-game store during the seasons in which they are released. You’ll always be able to complete the Standard (Free) track without having to purchase the skate.Pass, but you’ll need to upgrade to the Premium track for 1000 SVB to get access to the Premium items, and you’ll be able to continue progressing and unlock rewards for up to one additional Season. Once the following Season ends, you can’t complete progression against the legacy skate.Pass. Now that we’re in Season 2, Founder’s packs have been retired, and the Welcome packs are available via the skate.Shop or in-game, as well as a new Starter Pack. ICYMI: SVB purchases on the skate.Shop gives you 10% extra SVB.* For EA Play subscribers, you can also get 10% off any purchase on the skate.Shop, including add-on content packs and SVB purchases. *Bonus based on the cost of the same bundle when purchased in the in-game store. So what are the rewards in Season 2? Season 2 gets us more into the swing of a regular-length season. You’ll have 100 tiers to work through (40 Standard and 60 Premium) to earn 35 free cosmetic items and 5 tiers of SVB on the Standard track, and 57 cosmetic items and 3 tiers of SVB on the Premium track, bringing your total rewards for both the Standard and Premium track (combined) to 92 cosmetic items and 8 tiers of SVB (up to 500 SVB total when you complete progression), including board items (like decks, stickers, trucks, griptape, and wheels), character items (like clothing, shoes, costumes, hats), gestures, as well as profile items like banners and avatars, with tiers ranging from Uncommon and Rare to Legendary or Epic. What are some of the cosmetics? The skate.Pass Premium track also has a Premium reward, and this season we’re bringing Reginald, the Ratty Patty mascot. Every season, we’re bringing new brand partners, and we’re stoked to bring OJ, Ricta, Sci-Fi Fantasy, and adidas to San Van in Season 2. This is just a peek at some of the cosmetics you can get through Season 2’s skate.Pass Standard Track and Premium track, but that’s not all we’re bringing to San Van for Season 2. Music is life, and we’ll be updating the soundtrack by bringing 25 new songs into the rotation to jam out via Grabster in-game. Public Enemy - Public Enemy No. 1 Suicidal Tendencies - You Can't Bring Me Down Motörhead - Overkill Killing Joke - Eighties The Bombay Royale - Monkey Fight Snake We’ll be dropping the complete list of new music coming to San Van next week, so stay tuned. And, of course, we’ve got 2 Seasonal events! Events Winter Roll-stice San Van is going through an extended period of unseasonably warm weather this winter, and there’s nothing better than grabbing your board and hitting the streets to keep away the winter blues. The SVCC decided to turn the shortest day of the year into a community skate event, and the days leading up to it would be a celebration of skateboarding year-round. Spring Pop-Off Spring Pop-Off is the celebration of Spring and an opportunity to make as much noise as possible to drive out the geese, however you can: slamming into metal obstacles, firecracker’ing down every stair set you can find, and of course, the fireworks going off when the SVCC finds another forgotten stash to light up. The Season 2 events will both have community park updates to celebrate, with themed cosmetics you can earn from participating in the events and earning event currency, and some you can grab from the Extravert Shop in-game. Winter Roll-stice runs from December 16th to January 13th, 2026, and Spring Pop-Off will be making noise from February 10th to March 3rd. As you complete the in-game seasonal events, you’ll earn event currency to exchange for special Event cosmetics in-game. As a reminder, based on community feedback from Season 1, we’ve been refining and tuning the events. Please check out the event blogs before the events go live in-game, jump in, and share your thoughts with us. Welcome to the Future Radical in San Van, and welcome to Season 2. Let’s roll, The skate.
