Stuck in a tutorial voice tip loop. Cannot play the game or exit the tip
I am currently stuck in an endless loop that is preventing me from playing the game. I have tried to restart, uninstall, and exit the tutorial tip multiple times and nothing works. Launching the game immediately loads me back into the same loop and prevents me from exiting or playing the actual game. The voice tip that I’m looping on says “I’ll also keep it up to date with new challenges, tours, and other helpful things for finding your way around.” Any advice on how to get past this would be awesome as I’m really looking forward to playing the game. My top frustrations/complaints/suggestions for skate.
I was filling out the Season 1 survey and going to include all of this, but halfway through doing it they apparently ended it and are "not accepting additional responses at this time" so... I guess I'll just paste my whole thing here instead. idk if any dev is actually going to bother reading all this, but if so then thanks and sorry for it being so much. I tried to order it from most to least important (in my opinion, of course). The grind for Rip Chips and Tix is miserable now. It's so slow! Please, fans are more likely to return to the game and buy the battle pass when it's easier to finish, not harder and grindier! I hate that the game is online-only and there's no way to play offline or host a P2P/LAN server. I don't like spending money on online-only games knowing that one day they'll be shut down. Please plan for the future and make sure all the work you guys have put into this game will be preserved. I wish battle passes were permanent. Please look at Helldivers 2 and Halo Infinite for how much better a consumer-friendly permanent battle pass system can be. It leads to more sales in the long term than FOMO does! Bailing is so finicky in this game, it feels like the detection for it is slightly broken. I often just get thrown off a grind for no reason. There's no way to disable the vert magnitization or tone down that assist. I'll often be trying to grind a rail or just ollie over something but instead magnetize to some far away ramp and my whole character goes sideways. There's no text chat! For an MMO-like experience this is so disappointing, I have no way to talk to randoms and meet up on the map or anything! The "low camera" setting isn't accurate to the original skate's low camera view. I want it to be a bit lower and closer to the board. Please either replicate that camera view from the original, or just let me manually adjust the camera position and angle in settings? There's no setting to disable the chromatic aberration effect that gives me a headache. The object dropper having a limit of a measly FIVE objects is so limiting, you can't do much with that. Please increase it quite a bit and also let us save the objects we've placed so they load back in the next time we launch the game. Disabling Vee under audio settings doesn't remove her annoying, repetitive voicelines that play at the start and end of every challenge. Almost every time I launch the game it tries to run at some lower resolution rather than my desktop resolution, and it screws up the position and sizes of all my open windows. Drives me nuts. Frequently when playing my mouse cursor will appear for a bit in the middle of my screen, usually after challenges. The lack of any indoor locations is disappointing. I'd love to see an indoor mall to skate around, for example. Clothes are way, way too baggy and massive. It makes my character look like they gained 100 pounds! Where's the nice form-fitting jeans and shirts? There's no way to block songs, or have only songs I've favorited show up in the open world/during challenges. There are certain songs I hate hearing so much, please! There's no way to skip forward a song in the music player. When doing a line challenge if you complete one goal it'll cross it out, even though you need to do the whole thing in one attempt. After it crosses a goal out you can no longer tell your current progress on that goal in your next attempt. This is really low on the scale of importance (hence me putting it near the bottom), but I'm not a fan of how every costume so far either looks like it was made of paper mache or cardboard. I was really hopeful that Isaac Clarke would return to this game, he was my favorite character to use in skate 3! I kept asking if he'd return on skate's social media leading up to release lol. I was very disappointed that what we instead got was an unappealing cardboard box costume version of him. I would gladly have given you guys some money if you had just ported over the skate 3 model (aka the OG Dead Space model). Quite a few emotes can't be done while you're on your board. I really love the ones that let you do that, can we get that for all of them? Like "Running Man," for example. Currently when doing emotes it'll mute the music whether it be from your music player or the open world, I'd rather it not do that.You’re removing the good stuff
I logged on today and 8 of my favorited songs were just gone, including my favorite one by Royel Otis. Not sure if it’s a bug or intentional but i don’t see a point in removing music. I think there should be a choice for where your music plays, and STAYS there. For example I would start my liked playlist and I’d get a couple songs in before it just starts playing on a in-game speaker nearby. I’d then have to go back and play a song from the playlist again to listen to my music. I will hear a song in the shop and want to go out of the shop to add it to my favorites, and the song will stop playing. There should also be more accessibility with the playlists. Shuffle, repeat, etc. As of now, the playlist seems to shuffle no matter what. A lot of glitches have been found in early access and some of them are annoying and some of them are great. I understand that a developer doesn’t want their game to have glitches but a glitch like the flying and speed ones are a reason I had so much fun playing sometimes. I enjoy skating with friends of course but flying at high speeds and slamming into things is unbeatable. When I was a low level player, something I found annoying was the inability to activate fast travel points. The climbing is a cool feature but 1. it takes way too long and is too janky to climb anything and 2. I don’t want to have to do it again later when I unlock the fast travel. Since skate is a very casual game at times, a weather and time-of-day feature would be cool. Something where I can change the specific aesthetic I’m feeling but doesn’t affect the way the game plays. I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, but sometimes the camera height will change to low on its own, usually in a challenge. My friend and I have both experienced this. You also can’t go in the menu during a challenge so you have to finish it or quit to change it back to high. I understand everyone has different preferences when it comes to style, aesthetics, and art. But to me it seems like most things in the shop and progression boxes are not skater inspired. It’s very bright and saturated. So many peach colored things.. The skate pass has some better stuff though. I’m fine with a cartoony style game but it can have some character to it still. The game is meant to include younger audiences which is great. But the game as of now is very Cocomelon-like in its rewards and items. I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t be fortnite just cause it has a “pass” and give us some skating grime as well as the goofiness of skate 3, like the slab of meat. Which didn’t have to be a costume. (P.s. things don’t need to make sense. ImpervaTEK was so unnecessary) Love. Please and thank you, LeonVoltz
Skate needs an serious change
Let me start by saying I want the old Skate back like the skate 3 we all know along with Skate 4 or now known as just Skate. The graphics look like they're from out of a Disney wannabe video game and its annoying to hear that A.I. speak even the soundtrack doesn't fit add new different more popular Skateboarding music if I knew the Skate. Developers were gonna do a fortnite collab you should've just told them or water down my Skateboard mug with a more sensitive kid friendly saints row I wouldn't have downloaded this godforsaken reboot of a whole game no one cares or wants skins you gotta put money into to get certain clothes I'd rather have the skate 3 style where I get a whole completely different style by changing the size of my jeans, T-Shirt, hat, and Hoodie wheres that at instead what do I get a loot crate rewards from doing missions to buy more mystery boxes that's a dumb idea you guys watered down Skate 4 next you think about doing a reboot of something just do a remaster like everyone else and improve graphics and gameplay with no DLC here and there just make 2 or 3 DLCS like dead Island 2 and Skate 3 then you'll make more money until then do betterMusic
I love the idea of putting new music in for each season, BUT I dont think it should come at the cost of the music that's already in the game. If anything take the "universal music" out for the season only songs. I know this is personal, but the song Facts by Amyl and the Sniffers is my favorite song on the soundtrack and it got booted for the seasonal tracks. Does anyone else feel this way?Day+night and/or cycle control to the player like on Steep + weather
So on Steep it has a day and night cycle even though it’s online you can choose between if it’s day or night for each individual player. I think this could be a sick add on for skate as who doesn’t like a night skate also. Plus a weather could be also cool as skate through a stormy or light rain again would be cool and could effect the sliding distance of your board.
Played Skate 1, Skate 2, Skate 3 - My Feedback
Hello, Here is a simple list of my feedback. The gameplay tutorial funnel is extremely annoying, the AI/AR stuff is weird, Vee is extremely annoying. I do not want this annoying AI in my ear telling me what to do the entire game. Character customization feels barebones, character design feels too cartooney. Lack of brands in game, lack of ability to buy/freemium crate model is disappointing. Lack of humanity in the game, no personality at all. Does not feel like a skateboarding game, feels baby-ified. Co-op is too easy for veteran players. Co-op cant see my friends videos only mine, not fun- Skateboarding is about the videos. Izzy is extremely annoying as well. Why am I being taught by AI modules, and not just actual skateboarding NPCs/characters? Mission Bonski Sesh - Objective - Listen to Izzy, worst part of the game so far. Could not handle Vee anymore, stopped playing. No hall of meat, best part of the old games. Game lacking spice, lacking character, lacking flavour, lacking the skateboard culture. WHERE IS THE HALL OF MEAT?????????????

Logging in after the Season 1 Release I have discovered 5 of my favourited songs in my playlist are blanked out. They are non-existent in the other playlists as well. I can't seem to find any mention of removal or anyone really mentioning the issue. Not sure if bug or intentional but I am annoyed. The songs I have noticed that are missing are: Calling After Me - Wallows Facecard - Upchuck If Our Love Is Dead - Royel Otis Unfortunately I can't think of the last 2 songs I am missing as well. I am on Xbox Series X. Restarting game/console did not fix.
