Short but extensive list - please help
1. The skate - o-ween pack is no longer in the store since the 7th. Was supposed to be there until 11th. I have over eight thousand coins to spend and was going to purchase it once I finished up but it disappeared right after I did and now I can only get a witches dress which honestly doesn't appeal to me. It seems like the tokens were unnecessary. May as well have just rewarded usbeith the items for completing the tasks rather than complicate matters with an extra currency. 2. I can't redeem my challenge rewards for the season. I'm aware this is a known isssue. 3. After attempting to resolve some glitches I reinstalled my game (ps5) and the game no longer shows as founders edition even though I bought and paid for that. Currently it's only impacting me cosmetically but I fear that it may exclude me from certain things in future if it doesn't register as the deluxe early adoption version. 4. Every time I win or buy an item I go through the process of redeeming twice. So for example if I buy a board it will do the usual thing of popping up and you can use the triangle button to skip. Once the transactionnis complete I van return to main menu or whatever and suddenly get interrupted by the whole sequence all over again. This is particularly frustrating when redeeming items in the boxes. 5. The outfit and costumes thing is confusing. Having a costumes section separate to an outfit section is illogical. That said, if we could save our own outfit combos to the outfit section that would make sense. Then the costumes could be used purely for the rewarded ones. Currently I have rewarded ones split between each. 6. There are some issues when it comes to doing Missions/story mode that require multiple players. Hassling random players to join you to get through the task as become increasingly hard and is somewhat embarrassing and awkward. I'd like to propose another approach. How about a lobby for people looking for others to do those tasks and missions with so that people can get together without bugging each other. Also an ingame voice chat option would go a long way to making it a more communal experience.
Challenge Start Audio Bug
When attempting to start a challenge I experienced an audio bug where the sound bite that plays while holding triangle to start the challenge will do the following: Make all U/I disappear, repeatedly and infinitely play the aforementioned sound bite, and prevent the player from pausing or starting other challenges. This forces me to alt+f4 every time it happens. I believe that it is happening specifically when running up to the challenge, holding triangle, and ultimately running through the challenge start area (most likely due to momentum).
Large and Unpleasant Volume Changes - XSS
When I launch the game on Xbox Series S. the ambient volume on the start screen suggests it's going to be very quiet, but then the skateboard sound that plays when you start the game is substantially louder than the rest of the sounds and music that follow or precede it. It's an incredibly unpleasant experience and it's potentially damaging to someone's hearing.
2 weeks and can’t get any help
Hello, I have made multiple attempts to get my issue fixed and I keep getting told to post on forums and I will hear from someone, but nothing ever happens. It’s a simple issue to resolve. I was claiming skate pass items and the currency ran out and suddenly I had accidentally bought more with the real orange currency. I just want this reversed back. The game is buggy and freezes and next thing I know something happened k did not want. You just need to remove 1400 skate pass currency and add back the 500 of the orange currency. I am really hoping for help and some consideration since this is a pre release game and I bought the $50 founders edition.
Sound Layer bug Product box Shop
EN: Hello, I'm reporting a small sound integration issue to the sound designer in charge of sound integration. In the skateshop, when you buy product boxes, the sound sometimes accumulates each time you open an additional box. It seems to double with each additional box opened. Sometimes, after opening 10 boxes, I can't even keep my headphones on because there are so many layers of sound. FR: Bonjour je vous signale un petit problème d'intégration sonore destiner au sound designer en charge de l'intégration des sons. Dans le skateshop, lorsque l'on achete des productbox, ils arrivent que le son s'additionne à chaque fois que l'on ouvre une box supplementaires. J'ai l'impression que cela multiplie par 2 à chaque box ouverte supplémentaire. Défois, au bout de 10 box ouverte je ne peux même plus garder mon casque sur la tête tellement il y a de layers de sons. Thanks, TimWhere to begin?!
Even this page is buggy and got to many mistakes wtf ? Ok so the game needs to go back to development. The bugs in graphics are many and awful, we get game judder even when there’s nobody in the lobby makes it unplayable. the sound cuts out either just ground sound or all board related noises just go. in the menus it gets stuck you can’t see the map properly it’s not named and labeld well at all. the loot screens keep repeating after ever box you open you see what you got and then see it all again and if your lucky the game will still be working. that stupid ai gets stuck the main missions and tutorial get stuck and won’t progress. the controls never feel the same so there’s no learning curve it’s either as easy as Tony hawk or impossible because of all the bugs. Don’t give me no **bleep** about early access you screwed the pooch when you opened the store and started season 1. It’s out and it shouldn’t be it’s no where near ready. Technically it’s a giant **bleep** and there is so much more wrong with the fundamentals and gamplay comunity Parks are awful unskatable mostly it’s all out of proportion no actual sense to anything gaps are to big on some runoff to short ramps n rails where you can’t skate them or they get in the way ruins challenges ruins gamplay most of the world is sterile and unskateable in all honesty You need skaters and you need to listen to them. The layouts are awful the community parks are unusable on bord speed and turning need to be adjustable by players as right now they’re either to slow and unresponsive can’t make simple gaps or it’s lightning fast and puts you into a wall. camera while playing on or off board is clunky and changing the settings just makes the extremes worse. This game will die a death before it’s 12 months old because it won’t keep the fortnight **bleep** your targeting amused enough nothing ever does and skaters will just go play session. I honestly didn’t care about the dumb cartoon world and cartoon characters I love the addition of the free running and climbing although it should be expanded. Even the hud is bugged mega ramps you can’t land on even with the most Arcady settings This isn’t gaming culture and it’s not skate culture it’s money making let’s just use AI culture and it’s sad and frustrating. Im going to stop now because I keep adding to it n I’ll be here forever. if you give a **bleep** and want details and specifics on what needs changing and why then contact me I’m happy to sit and go over it all with someone. if not please don’t make another skate game you are just putting people off the sport the community and the potential for a good skate game to be made in the future.
