Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is frequently discounted now, so it's easy to forget just how big it was in its hayday. But back then it was easy to load up a game of walker assault on the DLC maps. Nowadays even a regular 40 player game is near impossible to come by, and the DLC ones are near impossible to play. I enjoy playing offline, but the two scarif maps and the cloud city map are not accessible without getting an extremely rare lobby. Since there is currently a drought of new Battlefront and people are starting to get bored of Battlefront II 2017, I think tweaking this finely-aged game in such a simple way could boost attention and possibly even sales. I also think that it's fair to those who purchased and wish to play these maps but have not had the occasion due to low online output.35Views1like0CommentsA Fan’s Proposal: Single-Player Clone Wars Game
Dear Electronic Arts Team, My name is Miras, and I am reaching out to you as a passionate fan of the Star Wars universe and the incredible games you have created in collaboration with Lucasfilm. Your projects, such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, have inspired millions of players worldwide and showcase your mastery in crafting rich, narrative-driven experiences. A Proposal for a New Star Wars Game I would like to present an idea for a new single-player, story-driven game set during the Clone Wars. This concept is not connected to the Star Wars Battlefront series and focuses on the personal journey of a clone trooper—from their creation to the tragic events of Order 66. I understand that game development is a complex process requiring significant resources. However, I truly believe this concept has the potential to become a successful project, expanding the Star Wars universe while captivating both longtime fans and new audiences. Game Concept The main protagonist would be a clone trooper of the Grand Army of the Republic. The story would begin on Kamino, where the player witnesses the creation of their clone and undergoes basic training—an ideal opportunity to introduce core gameplay mechanics. From there, the hero would participate in iconic battles of the Clone Wars, including: • The Battle of Umbara – A tense, emotionally charged conflict filled with moral dilemmas. • The Defense of Coruscant – An epic battle at the heart of the galaxy. • The Battle of Kashyyyk – The legendary defense of the Wookiee homeworld. • The Liberation of Ryloth – A strategic campaign to free the system from the Separatists. • The Battle of Christophsis – An intense urban conflict with high stakes. • The Battle of Saleucami – A critical operation to suppress enemy forces. • The Assault on Felucia – A dynamic and visually stunning engagement. The climax of the game would center on the execution of Order 66, offering players an emotional, immersive experience from the unique perspective of a soldier torn between loyalty and morality. Key Features of the Game 1. Single-Player Narrative: A cinematic, narrative-driven campaign inspired by the emotional depth of Jedi: Fallen Order and the choice-based storytelling of Detroit: Become Human. 2. Emotional Choices and Consequences: Players would face key decisions that shape the narrative and affect the hero’s emotional journey. 3. Customization: Players could choose their legion (e.g., 501st Legion or 212th Battalion) and customize their clone’s armor and weaponry. 4. A Soldier’s Perspective: Instead of focusing on the story of a powerful Jedi, this game would explore the human side of the war through the eyes of an ordinary clone trooper. 5. Epic Scale and Atmosphere: The game would recreate some of the most iconic battles of the Clone Wars era with immersive detail and large-scale combat sequences. Why This Idea Matters The Clone Wars era remains one of the most beloved periods of the Star Wars timeline. The massive success of The Clone Wars animated series is a testament to the fanbase’s enduring interest in this time period. Your past successes, such as Jedi: Fallen Order, prove that narrative-driven, single-player experiences have a strong audience. With over 20 million players engaged worldwide, it is clear that fans are eager for more immersive Star Wars stories. This game could be the next step in expanding the Star Wars universe—offering players a fresh perspective and an emotionally compelling journey through the Clone Wars. My Appeal to Electronic Arts I sincerely hope you will consider this concept and perhaps share it with Respawn Entertainment or other talented development teams working on Star Wars projects. Your partnership with Lucasfilm and your proven ability to deliver successful narrative experiences give me hope that this idea could become a reality and resonate with millions of fans around the world. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal and for the incredible experiences your games bring to players globally. I would greatly appreciate any feedback and would be thrilled to hear your thoughts on this concept. With respect and anticipation, Miras32Views1like0Comments
