Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Photo Mode hidden & off by default
Hi, I wanted to share some feedback regarding Photo Mode in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I recently contacted EA Help about an issue where Photo Mode wasn’t working for me at all. It turned out the feature is actually disabled by default and the toggle is located in a place that’s very easy to miss. Specifically, the Photo Mode toggle is hidden under Controls, just below the vibration toggle slider. Since most players won’t have a reason to scroll past or adjust vibration settings, this makes the option effectively hidden unless you already know where to look. On top of that, Photo Mode isn’t mentioned in any in-game pop-up tips or tutorials (at least from what I’ve seen), so there’s nothing guiding players to enable it or even letting them know it exists. Suggestion: Move the Photo Mode toggle to a more visible section (e.g. Gameplay or a dedicated Photo Mode section) Or enable it by default And/or include a pop-up tip or tutorial mentioning Photo Mode and how to activate it I was advised by the EA Help advisor to share this feedback here, as it could help improve the experience for other players who might think the feature is broken when it’s actually just hidden. Battlefront 2 shutting down from Origin Client being terminated - Error
I cant play any EA games because the client keeps shutting itself down. it only produces the error in the title when im in game. the game runs fine. the EA app just closes itself without errors if nothing is running. i don't have origin installed and there are no left over files to suggest its there. Ive tried. Uninstalling - reinstalling the game and app Downgrading my GPU drivers for my Nvidia GTX 1080 to an older one updating my PC. checking for viruses. closed all anti virus apps down Disabled in game overlays Checked event viewer. Checked DxDiag. no issues found there Killed my firewall. the only thing i can honestly say at this point is that the main game is installed on a different hard drive to where the client is. but the game is not whats causing the app to close. Nothing works EA's silly little AI chatbot is useless and they have ignored my tickets. i have uploaded the only report that may show something. there are no other recorded errors i can produceCrash Report

STAR WARS GAME CONCEPT: Jedi Knight Definitive Edition
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a concept I’ve been thinking about for a while: STAR WARS Jedi Knight: Definitive Edition, a full modern revival of the classic Jedi Knight series that blends the best elements of the original lightsaber combat with today’s graphics. Something that stays faithful to what made the originals special while bringing everything together into one complete experience. The core idea is simple: instead of reinventing the formula, this would preserve the feel of the original games, especially the lightsaber combat. The directional system, the timing, the weight—it all stays intact, just refined and modernized so it feels smoother without losing what made it unique. No drastic redesigns or trend-chasing mechanics, just the classic system brought up to today's graphics and technical standards. This edition would include all five campaigns fully playable in one package: Dark Forces, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy. Each campaign would be rebuilt with modern visuals and seamless transitions, but remain true to their original level design and identity. One major addition, though, would be full two-player co-op support across every campaign. The idea of experiencing Kyle Katarn’s journey (and beyond) with a friend, from start to finish, feels like a natural evolution that the originals never had the chance to explore. Multiplayer would also make a full return, keeping everything that defined Jedi Knight online play. All the classic modes would be included: Free For All, Duel, Power Duel, Jedi Master, Capture the Flag and Siege without stripping anything away. The goal wouldn’t be to simplify or replace these modes, but to preserve them and give them modern infrastructure like stable matchmaking, dedicated servers, and optional ranked play, while still allowing custom servers and community-driven experiences. Overall, this wouldn’t be a reboot or a reimagining—it would be a definitive, respectful restoration of the entire Jedi Knight legacy. The focus is on authenticity, completeness, and giving both longtime fans and new players a way to experience these games as they were meant to be played, just without the limitations of older hardware. Would you want something this faithful to the originals, or do you think a more modern redesign would work better?
Jedi 3 Wishlist
As a huge fan of Fallen Order and Survivor, I’ve spent countless hours exploring these games, and I’m incredibly excited for the upcoming conclusion with Jedi 3. Below are a few options/features I’d love to see in the final game: Broken Pommel Lightsaber Option It would be amazing to have the option to use Cal’s old, broken pommel from Fallen Order as a lightsaber design. This could be an unlockable feature after completing the game, allowing you to equip it in a new play-through. If selected as your primary saber, you’d need to use a secondary one for dual-wielding as they wouldn't be able to separate (perhaps it just hangs from his belt when not in use), and you’d be unable to use the double-bladed style due to the damaged pommel. Customization ‘Character Default’ In addition to still having full customization options, I’d love a feature that lets players choose from ‘Character Default’ options when customizing Cal’s attire, weapons, and BD-1. By selecting one of these, the characters would switch to their appearance to how it appeared at the start of previous titles or a specific point in a previous game. For example, choosing “Fallen Order” would restore Cal’s hair, clothing, and lightsaber to match his look at the beginning of Fallen Order. Could add an "Inquisitor" option to default Cal to match his Inquisitor look from the Fallen Order vision he had. Or "Imperial/ISB Outfit" from when he went to Nova Garon to find Bode in Survivor. Force Block/Hold (Expanded Combat) A final idea would be the ability to use the Force to block blaster bolts in mid-air or stop an enemy lightsaber swing by halting its momentum (similar to what we've seen in live-action with Ahsoka, Kenobi, and the Sequel trilogy). This could drain a significant amount of your Force energy, making it a move to use sparingly or as a last resort to turn the tide of battle. Anyway, these are just some ideas that came to mind and something I wanted to put out into the universe as I am doing another play-through of Survivor and thinking of what I'd like in the next game. I’m eagerly anticipating how the story and gameplay will evolve in Jedi 3. Anyone have any wishlist items they've been thinking of?
(PC) Battlefront Wont Start - AMD Driver Detection Saying "Version 0.0"
Every time I try and launch Star Wars Battlefront (which i installed from disc) in origin, I have a message "Please update your AMD Radeon driver" come up which says "Detected AMD Radeon driver version 0.0. The required driver version is 13.251 or later. Please update your drivers at http://www.amd.com/ before playing the game." (picture of this is attached) I am guessing this is an error in how origin detects my AMD driver because I have the latest drivers installed (15.20.xxx something). I am running windows 10 64-bit with an R9 390 with a 3440x1440 monitor. I have tried the following to fix it: - uninstalling all components related to my graphics driver (CCC, AMD gaming evolved, etc) and reinstalling them (tried newest and slightly older versions) - uninstalling origin and reinstalling it Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hackers in Battlefront 2015/2017: what are EA responses ?
Dear EA, hi everyone, I have been playing battlefront 2015 and 2017 since release on console and later on PC. I have loved those games so much and crafted great memories playing them. Unfortunately, they have shown to be close to unplayable. (at least recently) The following applies more to BF2015 since that's the game I've played the most recently. Cheaters and hackers are all over the place: they see you everywhere, they kill you through wall, they take significantly less damage and deal absurd amount of damage. It is very important to understand, that this not just one hacker in the lobby. Those are several people in the same lobby making the game unplayable, and if you dare say something in the chat, they make the game crash and you instantly return to the main menu. My games usually last 3 minutes before I am kicked out to the main menu, and those are 3 minutes during which I was just killed through wall, at absurd ranges, with absurd amount of damage in no time. This has not always been the case. For instance, I do not remember encountering cheaters at launch. We, the players, use the report feature offered by AI to signal those hackers. However, nothing has changed in years. Cheaters come back with new accounts. Sometimes, they are still playing with the same one, despite reports. My question is, EA, what are you really doing against this ? What are the difficulties you encounter doing so ? How do you see the future of it ? Is the situation overwhelming ? If yes, how it it possible since you have expert hands on the code and can patch the game for each hack reported ? This is a real problem, because you are still selling a game that is almost exclusively an online players versus players game. It holds breaches exploited by hackers, which make the game unplayable. If you allow me the comparison, grocery stores are not selling spoiled food, so why would you ? I, as a player who bought your games, really needs to understand the situation. How did we come to this ? Why can't you get rid of cheaters ? What are doing to solve this issue, also what are you not doing ? I love BF2015. I really wish I could play it. But for now I just need explanations on the products I bought. I know this might not be read. But I am writing on the forum because I know that EA is less and less reachable; from experience, you cannot get those sorts of answer with the technical support system. At what point do we start to form our own rebellion and fight back against the absolutely abysmal EA Empire for their abandonment?! Every single game is either empty (when we know it's not true, players are online), or the games are filled with hackers. You spend 10 minutes trying to find a playable game that isn't a repetition of the one you just played...when you finally find a unicorn, the game loads and guess what....hackers! Hackers everywhere...every. single. game!! I am new to PC gaming, and Battlefront was the first game that I really got into. It has been my gateway drug into the world of gaming, and a brilliant way for me to start participating in my partners hobby. I get to game with him and his guys, and it is all so exciting! Except, the crappy servers with their lack of control! Does EA even care about the game anymore? Or is this just how it goes?? You spend a bucket of money on an older game that shouldn't cost as much anyway, only to find that the game is actually trying to see if you can retain your mental stability whilst trying to find a single round of mindless shooting without having to sacrifice your firstborn?! Perhaps I am just new and stupid...or.....
Star Wars Jedi 3 Idea
Just had a thought and I wanted to put it somewhere devs might possibly see it. I think, if you need an idea for a cameo, Mace Windu finally returning as he has never been confirmed dead and even George Lucas told Sam, "Yeah, you can be alive," when asked if Mace could have survived. He could resign himself to Tanalorr after his cameo or at the end of the game to explain why he doesn't reappear in any other series. I'm not saying it's the best idea, but I just wanted to offer it up for consideration. If anyone has any other cameo or even general ideas, I'd love to see them below. - JoePractice mode in Squadrons issue
I just picked this up on steam last night, played a bit with story mode, and seemed to work fine. Tried to do practice mode today, and I get through the hanger stuff, hit B, and I get this the attached screen. I can't seem to select anything and the little box in the bottom right corner just does it's thing. I verified the installed files are good, I have no idea what else I can do. Any ideas? Stuck on Ilum, cannot reach climbable wall on the outside of temple

Cannot reach the climbable area. I have played through the game twice now to this point and have not been able to continue. I've tried going back to the Mantis and saving and restarting several times. Cannot try traveling to another planet and returning, there is not an option to activate the holo table to navigate anywhere else. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Complete the first trip to Dathomir where you break the crystal in your lightsaber. Return to the ship after Mirrin releases the undead and you automatically go to Illum. Collect the crate to the right and then head to the temple. Missing the rocks below the area where you are supposed to climb the outside of the temple. What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot reach the climbable area to get inside the temple. What do you expect to see? Video guides show a platform of rocks below the climbable area, which I do not have. Jedi Fallen Order crashes after logo in this order with music playing: Respawn - EA - Unreal engine - Lucasfilm - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Ea then CRASH. But sometimes game just start by miracle and works fine and play without problem, I have 28 hours gameplay into. 70% time crashes at logo, 30% time works fine . I have EA/Origin app, Windows 11. I have updated Windows, Nvidia graphics driver. I have verified game via EA. I set run as administrator and disabled fullscreen optimizations, set compatibility mode for win 8. FYI, Jedi Survivor works just fine. EDIT: I disabled image sharpening in 3D settings in NVIDIA Control Panel. Hi, i've had issues with SW squadron when launching the game, it would pop the launching bar and the logo of anticheat and SW squadrons. i've tried every troubleshooting possible advised by xbox and ea advisors. Hardware isnt the problem and i performed a clean boot as well. the game loading closed itself at the end of the clip. Anyone has the same issue????
Lost Data in Battlefront 1
Tried to turn on Battlefront 1 last night, said i needed to change my password- could not figure out how to change my password so i changed my email address and linked it to the game. Big mistake - I’ve lost everything! All my progress and went from level 100-1. I need to change back to my original email address and it will not let me. ea.help.com is no help at all i need to talk to customer support rep!! Please Help
