Battlefront I server discussions get taken down?
So I havent been able to play live for 3 weeks. I posted a discussion to ask for help which grew from there and now I can't find my discussion or any of the ones I was participating in. Can EA really delete entire threads like that? Has anyone gotten a fix for the server issue? Also I was a "seasoned newcomer" and now with this post it says I am a "new rookie" so I am guessing that the EA did take the threads down
Star Wars Battlefront II EA pro ( premier edition contain )
I have notice since i upgraded to my EA pro premier contain ! Does this include the last jedi dlc for rey and kaylo ? Those skins were able only for pre order game or when you bought elite trooper edition including emotions unlocked for all game characters am i right ? Those should be able also i have talked to EA and they told me that those should be unlocked and that premier edition contain was fresh released but they did not tell me when and also they did not tell me in the future after ea pro expire are we able to keep those DLC or able for purchase ?... no details on officals Star Wars Battlefront II page for Premier Edition ContainBattlefront (2015) can’t connect on xbox
Battlefront (2015) on xbox has been broken for over a month now and seems like EA deleted a lot of the threads bringing attention to it. It is completely unacceptable if EA plans on continuing to sell it on the Xbox store if they don’t plan on fixing it. EA, please have some integrity and either announce the game is getting shut down and stop selling it or fix it.EU matchmaking and ranked modes broken – please check servers (SW Squadrons)
Hello EA team, I’m from the EU region and for several months now, the matchmaking in Star Wars: Squadrons hasn’t been working properly. Quick Match and Ranked modes never find players or stay stuck on “searching for opponents” indefinitely, while Custom Games still work fine. This seems to affect the EU region specifically — players using VPNs to connect through US East or UK servers say that matchmaking works normally there. Because of this, it’s impossible to play Ranked or even casual matches in Europe. Many players would still enjoy the game if these servers were fixed or restarted. Please forward this to the technical/network team to check the EU (Frankfurt) matchmaking servers. Hi, I’m from Colombia and I’m having an issue with the Star Wars Battlefront II servers. When I try to play online, the only region available to select is Australia, even though I’m in Latin America. This gives me a very high ping (around 270ms) and I can’t find any matches, since there are almost no players in that region. I already tried changing the region manually in the settings, but the game won’t let me pick anything else—it always defaults to Australia.
Xbox one controller on PC causes lag and single digit FPS

It hovers around the single digits and spikes up to around the 40-60s for a moment then right back down. If I use my mouse and keyboard, I stay in the 80-120s. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect a xbox one controller, and see if your framerates drop and if the game begins to lag. What happens when the bug occurs? Frames drop down to the single digits, extreme input lag, and just not playable. What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to connect my controller perfectly fine and enjoy the game. Please help ASAP.
BF 2015 DLC maps should be available offline to those who bought them.
Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is frequently discounted now, so it's easy to forget just how big it was in its hayday. But back then it was easy to load up a game of walker assault on the DLC maps. Nowadays even a regular 40 player game is near impossible to come by, and the DLC ones are near impossible to play. I enjoy playing offline, but the two scarif maps and the cloud city map are not accessible without getting an extremely rare lobby. Since there is currently a drought of new Battlefront and people are starting to get bored of Battlefront II 2017, I think tweaking this finely-aged game in such a simple way could boost attention and possibly even sales. I also think that it's fair to those who purchased and wish to play these maps but have not had the occasion due to low online output.
Error 4270 Star Wars Squadrons
Posting this again since EA closed down the other thread regarding error 4270 in Star Wars Squadrons - claiming it was “necroposting” without offering any solutions or updates… Here is my original reply to another player - and several other players who posted within the last few weeks - regarding this multiplayer invite issue. I am able to invite at least one other XBox player to multiplayer in crossplay, but not other PC/Steam players… “I am on Steam and can successfully invite my buddy on Xbox using his EA ID, but I cannot invite any other steam friends using their steam ID or EA ID - I’ll get error code 4270 for all of them. It sucks because a couple of them just bought the game during the Christmas 2024 steam sale and we can’t play together at all… We’ve tried turning off crossplay, exiting the game, logging back in and turning crossplay back on - doesn’t work. Restarting the PCs also doesn’t work. EA!!!! HELP!!!!” The response from EA’s community manager (five days later) “Closing thread to avoid necroposting. If needed, please feel free to start a new topic.” Well EA, here’s your new thread on this SAME topic that your players are STILL having and are STILL recently posting about in a thread that is definitely not “necro…”
Star Wars Battlefront (2004) Installation stops at 98%
Hello, I have a problem with the installation of Star Wars Battlefront (2004) on PC. I already had the complete game downloaded some time ago, but last year I got a new PC where I had to install all the games I own once again, thought all the SSDs and HDDs where simply move over to the new pc (even the boot SSD). As I got a slower internet connection too (from 1 TB to 100 Mbit) I only downloaded the games I wanted to play at that time. And the others when I had spare time and would not interfere with any other internet user in our household. Long story short - this week I tried to install all the ea app titles again on this pc, but I came across some weird behavior. First of all, more than the half of my games were lost. From 76 owned games only 35 were listed in my library. So I reinstalled the ea app and most of the games were back again. But two of the games cannot be installed - one of them is Star Wars Battlefront (2004). I tried everything - deleting the cache, delete the install folder, start again, booting again, reinstalling the app, tried different install drives. Every time the game installs to 98%, than there is a DOS Windows pop up, it closes immediately and the download of the game goes to pause. The second game is Burnout Paradise, which even started to download, there is only the indefinite loading circle before the download may start. I tried both installations several times about the last two days, sometimes there is an additional error message that states, that I do not own the games, though there are listed as owned in my library. I could not buy them in the app store even if I wanted to as I already own them. Any help? Best regards Jogi
