Hackers in Battlefront 2015/2017: what are EA responses ?
Dear EA, hi everyone, I have been playing battlefront 2015 and 2017 since release on console and later on PC. I have loved those games so much and crafted great memories playing them. Unfortunately, they have shown to be close to unplayable. (at least recently) The following applies more to BF2015 since that's the game I've played the most recently. Cheaters and hackers are all over the place: they see you everywhere, they kill you through wall, they take significantly less damage and deal absurd amount of damage. It is very important to understand, that this not just one hacker in the lobby. Those are several people in the same lobby making the game unplayable, and if you dare say something in the chat, they make the game crash and you instantly return to the main menu. My games usually last 3 minutes before I am kicked out to the main menu, and those are 3 minutes during which I was just killed through wall, at absurd ranges, with absurd amount of damage in no time. This has not always been the case. For instance, I do not remember encountering cheaters at launch. We, the players, use the report feature offered by AI to signal those hackers. However, nothing has changed in years. Cheaters come back with new accounts. Sometimes, they are still playing with the same one, despite reports. My question is, EA, what are you really doing against this ? What are the difficulties you encounter doing so ? How do you see the future of it ? Is the situation overwhelming ? If yes, how it it possible since you have expert hands on the code and can patch the game for each hack reported ? This is a real problem, because you are still selling a game that is almost exclusively an online players versus players game. It holds breaches exploited by hackers, which make the game unplayable. If you allow me the comparison, grocery stores are not selling spoiled food, so why would you ? I, as a player who bought your games, really needs to understand the situation. How did we come to this ? Why can't you get rid of cheaters ? What are doing to solve this issue, also what are you not doing ? I love BF2015. I really wish I could play it. But for now I just need explanations on the products I bought. I know this might not be read. But I am writing on the forum because I know that EA is less and less reachable; from experience, you cannot get those sorts of answer with the technical support system. Star Wars BattleFront II Hacked
At what point do we start to form our own rebellion and fight back against the absolutely abysmal EA Empire for their abandonment?! Every single game is either empty (when we know it's not true, players are online), or the games are filled with hackers. You spend 10 minutes trying to find a playable game that isn't a repetition of the one you just played...when you finally find a unicorn, the game loads and guess what....hackers! Hackers everywhere...every. single. game!! I am new to PC gaming, and Battlefront was the first game that I really got into. It has been my gateway drug into the world of gaming, and a brilliant way for me to start participating in my partners hobby. I get to game with him and his guys, and it is all so exciting! Except, the crappy servers with their lack of control! Does EA even care about the game anymore? Or is this just how it goes?? You spend a bucket of money on an older game that shouldn't cost as much anyway, only to find that the game is actually trying to see if you can retain your mental stability whilst trying to find a single round of mindless shooting without having to sacrifice your firstborn?! Perhaps I am just new and stupid...or.....
Star Wars Jedi 3 Idea
Just had a thought and I wanted to put it somewhere devs might possibly see it. I think, if you need an idea for a cameo, Mace Windu finally returning as he has never been confirmed dead and even George Lucas told Sam, "Yeah, you can be alive," when asked if Mace could have survived. He could resign himself to Tanalorr after his cameo or at the end of the game to explain why he doesn't reappear in any other series. I'm not saying it's the best idea, but I just wanted to offer it up for consideration. If anyone has any other cameo or even general ideas, I'd love to see them below. - JoePractice mode in Squadrons issue
I just picked this up on steam last night, played a bit with story mode, and seemed to work fine. Tried to do practice mode today, and I get through the hanger stuff, hit B, and I get this the attached screen. I can't seem to select anything and the little box in the bottom right corner just does it's thing. I verified the installed files are good, I have no idea what else I can do. Any ideas? Stuck on Ilum, cannot reach climbable wall on the outside of temple

Cannot reach the climbable area. I have played through the game twice now to this point and have not been able to continue. I've tried going back to the Mantis and saving and restarting several times. Cannot try traveling to another planet and returning, there is not an option to activate the holo table to navigate anywhere else. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Complete the first trip to Dathomir where you break the crystal in your lightsaber. Return to the ship after Mirrin releases the undead and you automatically go to Illum. Collect the crate to the right and then head to the temple. Missing the rocks below the area where you are supposed to climb the outside of the temple. What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot reach the climbable area to get inside the temple. What do you expect to see? Video guides show a platform of rocks below the climbable area, which I do not have. Jedi Fallen Order crashes after logo in this order with music playing: Respawn - EA - Unreal engine - Lucasfilm - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Ea then CRASH. But sometimes game just start by miracle and works fine and play without problem, I have 28 hours gameplay into. 70% time crashes at logo, 30% time works fine . I have EA/Origin app, Windows 11. I have updated Windows, Nvidia graphics driver. I have verified game via EA. I set run as administrator and disabled fullscreen optimizations, set compatibility mode for win 8. FYI, Jedi Survivor works just fine. EDIT: I disabled image sharpening in 3D settings in NVIDIA Control Panel. Hi, i've had issues with SW squadron when launching the game, it would pop the launching bar and the logo of anticheat and SW squadrons. i've tried every troubleshooting possible advised by xbox and ea advisors. Hardware isnt the problem and i performed a clean boot as well. the game loading closed itself at the end of the clip. Anyone has the same issue????
Lost Data in Battlefront 1
Tried to turn on Battlefront 1 last night, said i needed to change my password- could not figure out how to change my password so i changed my email address and linked it to the game. Big mistake - I’ve lost everything! All my progress and went from level 100-1. I need to change back to my original email address and it will not let me. ea.help.com is no help at all i need to talk to customer support rep!! Please HelpBring Back Star Wars Commanders
Does anyone else miss Star Wars Commanders? I can’t find any good mobile games anymore. I am a huge Star Wars fan, but after the most recent Galaxy of Heros update the game isn’t fun anymore. We need more mobile games like Star Wars Commanders that you can build and play with friends. Let me know your thoughts.
Error 4270 Star Wars Squadrons
Posting this again since EA closed down the other thread regarding error 4270 in Star Wars Squadrons - claiming it was “necroposting” without offering any solutions or updates… Here is my original reply to another player - and several other players who posted within the last few weeks - regarding this multiplayer invite issue. I am able to invite at least one other XBox player to multiplayer in crossplay, but not other PC/Steam players… “I am on Steam and can successfully invite my buddy on Xbox using his EA ID, but I cannot invite any other steam friends using their steam ID or EA ID - I’ll get error code 4270 for all of them. It sucks because a couple of them just bought the game during the Christmas 2024 steam sale and we can’t play together at all… We’ve tried turning off crossplay, exiting the game, logging back in and turning crossplay back on - doesn’t work. Restarting the PCs also doesn’t work. EA!!!! HELP!!!!” The response from EA’s community manager (five days later) “Closing thread to avoid necroposting. If needed, please feel free to start a new topic.” Well EA, here’s your new thread on this SAME topic that your players are STILL having and are STILL recently posting about in a thread that is definitely not “necro…”

Star Wars Battlefront 2015 - Servers 'bricked'
Recently, some of the servers have been being broken by hackers. Their mods essentially make people teleport, but if you do it too fast you can stop the other team from spawning, for example (as they did), and generally after a while the server appears to 'clog up'. This causes legitimate player requests to be ignored - moving, shooting, using Star Cards - and gives the experience of a VERY laggy connection. Unfortunately, when in this state, it appears that only headshots can deal damage, and nobody can be lowered below 1 hitpoint, making the game unplayable. This condition appears to persist on the server for a fair amount of time even after the hacker has left, and even brand-new sparkling-clean lobbies created with the intent of avoiding this can be 'bricked'. Please can this be brought to the attention of the EA devs, such that they might fix the servers, adequately hacker-proof their netcode, and punish those responsible? I can't fathom what the hackers get out of causing this - even less than I can fathom their usual selfish stupidity. I know lots of people have experienced this - I have been in lobbies with at least 80 different players where the server has been bricked - I just hope we can make enough noise to get this fixed again, like last time. This has happened on every server region that I have tried, and for many game modes.
Not connected to Internet??
I'm getting this error when trying to start Jedi: Fallen Order "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. to activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet" I've literally tried everything. Disabling Firewalls and antivirus, restarting app, repairing app, reseting network settings, reinstalling EA, trying to install an old version, running the app on another device, changing from wifi to ethernet, etc. Please help. I spent money on this game and want to be able to play it. Can't find anything that works online
