This thread has become full of the most amazing roller coaster builds.The ---------------------------------- UPDATE: May 2016 Please note.... This is because the number of posts per page changed with the new forum and the page numbers written here are for the old Sims 3 forum. Also note people are still continuing to post new builds in this thread so don't assume it all ended with the end of the list of builds in this post. There are a lot more to be found and please add your builds when you have something you'd like to show us. The other problem with the list of builds in this thread is the amount of text that can be saved into a post is less than it was previously so the list can't be extended beyond a certain point. Another problem is a lot of pictures didn't get transferred across from the old forum. I went through and fixed all of my pictures (I hope) but not everyone was able to do that. I found the problem with my posts was the extra text I added to change the picture size. ----------------------- Since the new Amore set has canal pieces that will allow us to build carnival lots with boats - I thought it only logical to add builds contain objects from the set in this thread too. NOTE: You an use any part of any of the three sets/venues to have your build fit happily into this thread. With the release of the Carousel, I thought it would be fun to add builds of lots that are for roller coasters and carousels. So I have changed the name of the thread to be for Carnival lots - preferably if the lot has a roller coaster or carousel or a carnival/circus type tent on it. I need to say the most fun thing that happened to the roller coaster thread, from my point of view, is firstly the huge number of amazing roller coasters in it, and secondly it got some recognition by EA when it was posted to the Sims 3 Facebook page. It has had over 9,000 hits and over 350 posts so far. There are about 40 roller coasters in it for people to investigate should they want to find one for their game. This thread has always been in the first page or two of the store. It has been sufficiently popular and has been getting new builds posted to it for years I am surprised EA have now decided they don't want us to access it any more. Since new posts are no longer possible it will gradually sink into oblivion. Now I know this is EA's intention. But we are the ones who are constantly looking for builds to download and add to our games so I thought, we might turn this thread into a place to post future builds, if anyone has any please post links and pictures here. We can keep the link to the old thread here so people can still find it. I'm thinking we could expand the types of builds in this thread. I'll change the title when there are a few posts as no one may post anything at all. I hope you do though. I will try to maintain a table of contents with headings to make it easy to find what's in this thread. The Table of Contents is a few posts down. There are more headings in it than mentioned here so go down there and check it out if you're looking for something specific. I'm hoping to get some worlds in here too. ------------------------- This thread is in the Store section. I started it years ago and it is still active. I see @Sandraelle just posted two of her recent new builds. I thought I'd post a link here just in case you are interested and don't visit the store section often. Some of the older posts no longer have working pictures but most builds are linked to the Sims 3 Exchange so you can still get them. People do still add new builds occasionally so towards the end of the thread is where you'll find the new builds.
