Sims 3 Worlds Bundle: Monte Vista Code not working
Hi all, I've been having some issues with my purchase of The Sims 3 Worlds Bundle. Specifically, issues with the game code for Monte Vista already being redeemed. From my multiple attempts of troubleshooting when I first purchased the bundle back in 2023 to today having spoken to three different agents about getting the issue resolved. I was wondering if any one would be able to help me figure this out. I am no longer eligible for a refund, which I don't want. I just want to be able to utilize the world since I don't want to just eat $10 dollars. I somehow have access to Hidden Springs and the Chocolate Fountain, but not the Monte Vista world. The most recent agent I spoke to suggested posting here to get the word out that this is going on and I hope from the research I've done that either this has been figured out by the community or that this issue can be corrected at a higher level. The Daily Deal List and Sales Help The editing issues with this thread have been fixed by EA_David! The long process now begins to relink hyperlinks where possible and to delete information relevant only to the previous forum. The Sims 3 Store Daily Deal offers a selected store item at a discounted price for one, two or three hours. Many of the items are discounted at 75% off or more. The current Daily Deal list, which was introduced on September 23, 2014 at 12:07 a.m. UTC, includes 977 deals. After the 977th deal ends, the deals begin at Deal 1 again. A full rotation of the list takes 82 days. (See this post for background information about the Daily Deal list.) The first page of this thread has been set up to include the list of the deals, and to include information that was available on the first page of the previous DD threads. To the first time user, this thread contains a lot of information. To help you find the information you are seeking, the first post is a contents list with hyperlinks to posts and threads within the Sims 3 forum to help Simmers own the store or at least as much content as they would like and, to get the most value for their simpoints. However, EA_Cade posted in Answers HQ that "This issue should now be resolved with the latest EA app update (please ensure that you are on EA app build 12.115.0.5372 or later). I recently made a purchase of something on my wish list from the store page then went back to my wish list and bam! Suddenly everything was out of order from the last time I'd used it. I'd put some more expensive things at the top. FYI I do have 359 items currently in my wish list & have kept the items that I now own as well so I don't have to wonder. But I tried moving them again, at least a few things, but it reverted again. The things I'd moved are all the way down to about #68, then 69, then 71, etc. They're not only moved down, but everything is reordered and scrambled. What in the world is happening? Why is it doing this to me? Ugh! So many glitchy problems. I tried clearing cookies, logging in again from Chrome, still being weird. I have been having issues with the EA App since Mac users had to update to the new app. I cannot download any store content to my Sims 3 Launcher. It keeps popping up with 'There was an error Downloading Content {0}'. I have talked to the EA support team and they don't know why my game is doing this and told me to come to the forums. Is there a solution to this? I miss playing my game with all the things that I purchased. If you bought a Store world with SimPoints and it's not appearing in your purchase history on the Store site, please contact EA customer support and request that the SimPoints from the failed purchase be added back to your account. If this isn't working for you, try a different browser. Firefox generally works best with the Store site. It is generally unnecessary to sign into the launcher before attempting to download or install Store content. However, this has helped some players, so it's worth trying. Mac users only: if you see an Error Downloading Content {0}, please repair the game in Origin, restart your computer, and try again. If the world still won't download properly, try a clean Sims 3 user folder. Rename the existing "The Sims 3" folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, and try to download only that world. If it works, you can move the downloaded world from the new Sims 3 folder to the old one you renamed, trash the new folder, and change the old one's name back to "The Sims 3." Downloaded Store items are found in the Downloads subfolder and have the extension .Sims3Pack. Be sure to delete any older downloads of the world before moving over the fresh copy. If the world downloads properly but doesn't install, please try a clean Sims 3 user folder as well. I need help! Ive been playing sims 3 for years now and recently I was randomly logged out and when I tried to log back in I was stuck in a connecting loop that never finished and id have to force close the application. I've tried clearing my cache on everything, I've deleted any saved passwords, I've changed my password multiple times, it does not contain any special characters, I've tried repairing the game. I even went as far as deleting the game and completely redownloading it, my only issue now is that because I redownloaded it I can no longer download stuff from the store, and I have so many purachases on there I'm so upset.
