Request for Port/ Remaster: The Sims Bustin' Out for Nintendo Switch
With the recent success and positive reception of the MySims Cozy Bundle on the Nintendo Switch, it really feels like the perfect time to bring back one of the most beloved console entries in the franchise: The Sims Bustin’ Out. For many longtime fans, Bustin’ Out was not just another Sims game. It had a personality and charm that felt completely unique. The objective-based Bust Out Mode gave players a clear sense of progression that made every move to a new house feel exciting and meaningful. Instead of just building endlessly, you were working toward something, unlocking new opportunities, meeting unforgettable characters, and slowly climbing your way through the world. The characters themselves were a huge part of the magic. People still remember personalities like Mom and Uncle Phil because they made the game feel alive and a little bit strange in the best possible way. There was humor, weirdness, and heart baked into the experience that hasn’t quite been replicated in the same way since. For a lot of players, this game holds a deep nostalgic place in their childhood memories. It was the kind of game you could spend hours with, discovering new interactions, completing goals, and feeling like you were part of a quirky little universe. Those memories have stuck with many of us for years. The structure of Bustin’ Out would also translate incredibly well to modern handheld gaming. The mission-style progression and clear goals feel perfectly suited for the pick-up-and-play style of the Switch. Whether it’s a faithful port or a polished remaster, there’s a huge audience of both returning fans and new players who would love to experience this classic again. With the continued popularity of life simulation and cozy games on the Switch, bringing The Sims Bustin’ Out back could introduce an entirely new generation to a truly special chapter in Sims history. A lot of classic games fade away over time, but this one still lives vividly in the memories of fans. It would be amazing to see it given a second life on modern hardware. Would anyone else love to see Bustin’ Out return on the Switch? 🎮Game crashes while saving
Dude or dudette…I have been a fan since sims 2…however, I’m getting really sick and tired of not being able to play a game I’ve spent hundreds of my husbands dollars on, cause it crashes every time I save! I save to avoid losing game play when the game inevitably crashes, just for it to crash! It’s not right, and you know it. Hello, this is a very old, but truly beautiful game and maybe there is still a chance to get help with that game. I try to get all objects in that game but I just can't seem to complete the ingame catalog. According to the english official strategy guide, I'm missing two objects: the Zodiac Statue (catalog: 'Decoration') and the Bumpin' Beach Ball (catalog: 'Recreation'). The official guide states that both are "R," meaning rare. The guide says that the statue is zodiac-specific and, along with the Zodiac Recliner, which I was able to find, is the second bonus item in the game. The statue is supposed to appear 'very rarely' in the shops. The ball is listed in the objectlist in the strategy guide with a value of § 29. Both shops and Giuseppi's van are restocked at midnight. So, I saved in the area in front of Giuseppi at 11:58 PM, went to him, checked his objects and the objects of both shops: No Ball, no Zodiac Statue. I then quit the game and restart it to repeat the process. I've done this hundreds of times without finding the statue and the ball. Only all the other items keep reappearing. Does anybody know the solution how to get the Zodiac Statue and the Bumpin' Beach Ball? After 23 years... Best regards, Christian40Views0likes0CommentsSims Busting Out
Hello fellow simmers and EA management! I am almost 30 years old and have been a Simmer since I could handle a controller. I have acquired all of the Sims games on my PC, but my favorite is the Sims Bustin Out. I would Love Love Love if EA released the Sims Bustin Out for PC. This would make my whole gaming life!72Views0likes1CommentBring discontinued Sims titles into Apple Arcade

Growing up I absolutely loved playing The Sims but my fondest memories aren’t from the main game itself, it was from playing Sims Urbz, Bustin out, Castaway and all the other brilliant spin off versions of the game, they were absolutely brilliant and worth every penny. considering EA has just announced they will not be making a Sims5 when people have spent so much money on Sims4 already which is fair but I think this opens up the opportunity to create these spin-off versions once again as I know for a fact I would buy them just for the nostalgia on its own. This is something I strongly believe should be considered for future content!171Views3likes2CommentsA Request for EA: Bustin' Out on PC
Hello, fellow Simmers (and, hopefully, EA management)! So, I've noticed a recurring trend that the old 2003 PS2 game "The Sims: Bustin' Out" had been a source of many nostalgic memories for multiple players on the EA Forums. I haven't played it myself; in fact, I only went looking for gameplay footage of the game AFTER reading about it on the Sims series' official TV Tropes page. But from what I've read and seen of the game, I can see the charm it has, and even if it's a bit rough around the edges (and even THAT's to be expected for an old console spin-off of a series designed for PC), I want to say that it actually looks pretty good. I want to go play Bustin' Out and take the old twist of a Sims game with a story mode out for a spin myself, but the available torrent/emulator sites are a bit too sketchy for my tastes. So, I'm taking to the EA Forums to buzz this request into EA's ear yet again, for myself and everyone who grew up playing The Sims' wacky and edgy PS2 spin-offs. Could we please have a remake of The Sims: Bustin' Out? Preferably for the PC? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, GeraltsFace.201Views3likes0CommentsSims Console titles on GameCube NSO!
It would be really great to be able to play The Sims 1 for Consoles, The Sims Bustin’ Out, and The Urbz, via the new GameCube Nintendo Classics app on Switch 2! Seeing as SoulCalibur 2 made it onto the app, I would love to be able to play the older titles via said app as on both Switch 1 and 2, we only have the MySims Cozy Bundle right now. :)114Views1like0Comments
