Starting Position Incorrect
During me and my cousin's two-player career mode, our starting positions for both the Sprint and Full Race at the Shanghai International Circuit were incorrect. During the Sprint Qualifying, I set 2nd, while my cousin set 16th (was in the bathroom lol). Come the sprint, I was sitting at P1 and he was P2. Now, for the Race Qualifier, I set P1, and my cousin set P6. Come race day, I was P15 and he was P19. I don't understand how this could even be possible, and it is very discouraging to try in Qualifying if this will keep happening. I am a little worried about continuing our career mode if this is a known thing and not resolved. If anyone else has experienced this and found a fix, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope this is an easy fix or track-specific and will be addressed soon.Workaround: [Silverstone PIT LIMITER 60km/h] DOESN'T WORK
You reduced the pit lane speed at Silverstone to 60 km/h to avoid gaining an advantage on the last lap by entering the pit lane. Your workaround DOESN'T WORK because I've been overtaken numerous times by taking shortcuts on the last lap. My proposed solution to this problem, which has been present in F1 games for many years: The pit lane should be closed on the last lap, and attempting to enter the pit lane should result in a penalty (e.g., DSQ). Similarly, failing to use two different slick tire compounds in the race (in dry conditions) also results in a DSQ penalty. Then, the correct pit lane speed could be set to 80 km/h. It's strange that no one has thought of this after all these years. Please add official support for PXN VD10 + W CS R2 Direct Drive Wheel
Hello everyone, I'm using a PXN VD10 Direct Drive Wheel Base together with the PXN W CS R2 Steering Wheel on PC. Unfortunately, F1 25 does not include an official profile or preset for this wheel, which makes the setup difficult. Many buttons need to be mapped manually, and some functions are not recognized correctly. Other PXN users have also reported issues, especially with button recognition and the D-pad after firmware updates. The PXN VD series is becoming increasingly popular, and the VD10 + W CS R2 is one of the company's flagship Direct Drive products. I would like to request that Codemasters/EA add: Official support for the PXN VD10 wheel base. A default preset for the PXN W CS R2 steering wheel. Proper Force Feedback profile. Automatic button mapping. Full compatibility with all wheel inputs. At the moment, the PXN VD10/W CS R2 is not listed among the officially supported wheel presets for F1 25. I hope the development team can consider adding support in a future update. Thank you!
When me and my brother try to play our two player career, both of our games crash when we click to go to grid reveal. We had a similar issue in our last career (which we deleted because it bugged), where it would always crash our games when we tried to race Australia. W have tried updating our driver (pc, not updating driver ratings), turning off anti-virus, verifying game files, and none of these seem to work.Logitech G923 receives Force Feedback from Player 2 controller
PS5 - Logitech G923 receives Force Feedback from Player 2 controller in Split-Screen Platform: PlayStation 5 Game: F1 25 (latest version) Wheel: Logitech G923 (latest firmware) Description: When playing Split-Screen on PS5, the Logitech G923 connected to Player 1 receives Force Feedback effects generated by Player 2, who is using a DualSense controller. The issue is especially noticeable after Player 1 retires (DNF). While Player 1’s car is no longer active, the G923 continues to vibrate whenever Player 2 drives over kerbs, bumps, or has collisions. The steering wheel does not steer according to Player 2’s inputs. Only the Force Feedback effects (vibrations/road impacts) are incorrectly sent to the wheel. Steps to reproduce: Connect a Logitech G923 to PS5. Sign in with two different PSN accounts. Player 1 uses the G923. Player 2 uses a DualSense controller. Start a Split-Screen race. Retire (DNF) as Player 1. Continue driving as Player 2. Drive over kerbs or hit barriers. Expected result: The Logitech G923 should only receive Force Feedback for Player 1’s car. After Player 1 retires, the wheel should no longer receive any Force Feedback generated by Player 2. Actual result: The Logitech G923 continues to receive Force Feedback whenever Player 2 drives over kerbs, bumps, or has impacts, even though Player 1 has retired. Additional information: Game updated to the latest version. Two separate PSN profiles are used. The issue persists after restarting the game and reconnecting the wheel. The problem only occurs in Split-Screen. In single-player, the wheel behaves normally.F1 25 Corrupted save file and Had to restart over
For some reason and Randomly out of the blue, I had lost or corrupted my save file which caused me to lose my Liveries for the F1 25 Cars, Lost progression in the Career Modes and even my settings went back to default and I do not even know why, I cant go back to a previous version of the save and I have not done a backup of the files beforehand and I believe this is poor design of the save files on EA ends to make sure that corruption like these is prevented and they can be preventable but however they did not even try. A solution to this is cloud saves where your Saves are backed up to the cloud and so when a corruption happens like this, the game can ask you if you want to start over or to recover a recent save backed up to the cloud. This is the most easiest and the best ways to prevent this problem as each save file takes up around a couple of KB of data and so it is not excusable to not go for this option especially for the amount of copies sold of F1 25 as at most it would prob take up 10GB of space. If their is any solutions to help me backup my saves or to even restore my save which as been corrupted like so please send it over. But apart from that Please fix this as this can happen to many people and I believe that many other people has also ran into this issue. But however, my F1 25 multiplayer stats seem to not be affected by this so it means that they have a system in place for this partially for the multiplayer side but however did not do the same for the single-Player side which is unfortunate, I have even seen a similar thread like this posted to the EA forms 6 Months ago with no action taking place and it shows that this is a ongoing problem that may have started since the release of F1 25. Please fix your game so that more people do not run into this issue thanks! When racing for either RedBull or VCARB at Suzuka in the new DLC, Marc still says: "This is our engine supplier's home Grand Prix". This seems to be leftover dialogue from when these teams were associated with Honda. In the new DLC, RedBull/VCARB are linked with Ford/RedBull Ford Powertrains, so Suzuka should no longer be treated as their engine supplier's home Grand Prix. Instead it should be America. The camera changes FOV by itself
For some time now, I've noticed something strange happening with my camera in every car or track in every mode. The camera changes FOV from every position after pausing the game. The correct FOV is when the game is paused, but the wrong FOV is when in drive mode. 1. Reinstalling the game to a different drive doesn't help. 2. Verifying file integrity doesn't help. 3. Deleting the save file doesn't help. 4. Deleting the files from my documents doesn't help. 5. Restoring the default camera settings [FOV] doesn't help. 6. Changing the FOV in any way doesn't help. 7.
