2 player career mode is absolutely broken
Me and a friend started playing a coop career mode and we just found that this **bleep** is full of bugs everywhere for everything. Starting with the loading screens. Its an absolutely garbage that the loading screens takes so extremely long to make into the lobby, sometimes it takes like x3 longer than what GTA V loading screens takes to load into an online session. Once we get into the race weekend it works almost normally, but the loading screens to go into the lobby, at least for the 2 player career mode, doesn't make any sense (not saying that also there's a possibility to fail to connect to EA servers after 5 minutes of loading the lobby). Then, we found that doing qualifying doesn't matter because the game will put you wherever it wants. When we were in the Chinese GP, we qualified for the sprint 15 (me, but I retired from Q2 with no time) and 16 (mate), but going into the sprint race we were starting 1st and 2nd for some reason (and nope, nodoby of the AI drivers got a penalty except for just 1 of them). Same happened for the main race qualifying, I qualified 10 and my teammate 17. We went to the race and we found that we were starting 16 and 20 (again, none of us got a penalty). In addition to this point, something similar happened in the 1st GP (Australia) but it wasn't that bad like what happened here in China or in the coming Japanese GP. But thats not the worst part. In this case, we were doing the Japanese GP (just the 3rd GP) and basically we can't continue doing our career mode because the game doesn't work anymore. I'll put a YT video at the bottom of this post so you can see everything what happened. When we had to do the race, in the formation lap, we found that my teammate was placed so far back in the track, he was placed at the finish line and not even in one of the grid boxes. Also, if you pay attention to our both POVs and the standings at the top left, from my POV you can see that I'm 10th and my teammate 12th, but from my teammate's POV he is 2nd and I'm 1st. We originally qualified 10 and he 13 (but he gained 1 pos because of a penalty). Not only happy with that, but also the AI never started moving, they all just remained still the whole time and never moved. Me and my teammate did the full formation lap to see if at least we can start the race, and not only it didn't solve anything, but also we weren't able to come back to our grid boxes, because when we reached the finish line we just got tp to the left side of the finish line, without any possibility to move or do something there, and the race never start. We went back to the main menu and loaded again into the 2p career mode, but we got the same bugs. This time my teammate was placed in 2nd instead of 12. But again, we can do the formation lap until the finish line, where we can't do anything from there and the race will never start. There's no option to skip or simulate the race or the weekend, so we are stucked at this point forever. Basically, we can't continue playing our career mode. Honeslty, It's incredible how it is possible to release a game in a such horrendous state and not even take care of it, I can understand (not 100%) that this can happen in the first days since release, but we are almost 1 year later... Invitational Game Play
I'm writing here, not to report a bug, to suggest something. 1. Me and a friend we are enjoying a lot the invitational game play, I know it was make with a purpose, although we don't want to play with unknown online drivers but we want to accomplice the rare or legendary races as well. My point is, that would be nice that the points targeted in this races to be flexible for the real players in the lobby. Or... Extra points for cleanest driver Extra points for fastest lap So we can archive the point for a Legendary or Rare race. This gameplay is really good for content and fun (talking from my experience) but is really annoying that we need to skip some of the races. 2. Tracks....Will be nice to have in the invitational gameplay all the tracks, not just few. I would love to be continued this game play, as I said I really enjoy playing this game and is a proper source of content.
CoOp Career XP Glitch
My friend and I are on season 2, race 3 of COOP Career Mode. We did 3 sessions of Quick Practice and when we progressed, I lost a combined 109.075 XP points, whilst my friend has randomly gained almost an identical amount with no explanation either way? Career mode is based on XP and levels, so this has seriously hurt my progress as I've affectively been reset. Please help. Image attached.
F1 25 career mode frozen and won’t let me drive the car out of garage
On 2 play career mode with my friend. Going into a session all it does is just let me look around, click go to track but after clicking ok it doesn’t let me drive out of the garage. Yes I already closed the game out, restarted and shut down the system. Very frustrating!!No resource points for player 2
In our 2 player career mode, my friend isn't being allocated any resource points for the practice programmes. Trying to keep ul the development against other teams is a challenge as we are getting no points for 1 of us!! This needs fixing ASAP, it's ruining the experience and making practice sessions a waste of time for one of us!! Sort it please EAAI Penalties
You have that feeling of smashing things when you are in a race with AI, doesn't matter if is in career or Invitational and you have been rammed from behind, hit the wall and you receive a warning or even a penalty? I think this shout be looked into it, I have really bad experiences like this or moving hazardous before breaking zones. I know and I'm aware that they needs to give you a hard time but can be done otherwise, like late breaks so you can't overtake them. Coming back on penalties, I don't understand why I need to receive a 2 sec penalty when someone comes and hit me in the back, or hitting my rear side of the car and spins me and at the end it's still me with the warning.CO-OP Career Bugs
Hello, I came to report two bugs, sorry if this isn't the best method or if I'm missing the posts about them. 1. Co-op Drivers Ratings Update still broken: No matter how many times we hit "Update Driver ratings" in co-op career, it will undoubtedly pop up again prompting us to update the driver's ratings. Our original save was before the first driver's ratings update, but even after starting over in a new co-op career the same issue persists (this was created after the most recent drivers update). 2. Co-op Career formation laps: This bug has been in the game for a while; it also occurred in the last game, but the formation lap during race weekend is terrible in Co-op. It's a flip of a coin if we have to exit out to menu, or if we can race. What will happen is, we will attempt to form up, but everyone will be set in the wrong position, at the actual start of the formation lap. We tried the option where we as the players drive it, where usually at race start we get some sync error and we have to go back to menu anyway and now were currently on the broadcast one where you still face that error. Usually, how we can tell if the bug occurred is if, we go in to change our race strategy, and there's no one standing around the cars, or if once we hit start race, we see the teams next to each other instead of the actual qualifying (For ex: (Real Qualifying: (1. Verstappen, 2. Piastri, 3 Sainz, 4: Lando etc.) Bugged Start: (1.Lando, 2. Piastri, 3, Verstappen, 4. Tsunoda etc.) the only way we've seen to go around this is just trying again. I think it's got to be a network issue, for the fact that the host of the career won't always see it right away, it'll show up correctly, and then once it gets to parking the car it will always screw up. I will try and record a video of the 2nd one to add onto this post if possible.Two Player Career softlock during race weekend
Player Career is permanently stuck during a race weekend. PC player can load into the workstation, PS5 player gets infinite loading. When PC player disconnects, PS5 player loads into the HQ but the option to start the race weekend is missing. Career cannot be progressed or recovered. This happened during a cross-play session PS5 to PC.
