Fix FC 27 Simulation Gameplay Collapse, Passing Errors & Acceleration Flaws
Dear EA Development Team, I am writing to report a critical collapse and severe lack of balance in the Simulation Gameplay settings on the PC platform after playing 3 full seasons in FC 27. The realistic gameplay mode is highly unstable, broken, and deeply unrealistic. Here are the specific gameplay issues that need immediate fixing: 1. Simulation Gameplay Instability & Density: The realistic simulation style is completely broken. The spacing between players on the pitch is totally unrealistic. Due to extreme congestion and tightness, it is nearly impossible to retain possession. Players do not even have enough time to receive or control the ball before it is instantly stripped away by opponents, making the game feel more like a wrestling match than football. 2. Broken Passing Mechanics: All types of passing suffer from exaggerated errors. Ground passes, through balls, crosses, and long balls are heavily flawed. High through balls and long passes frequently fly out of bounds. Meanwhile, the AI opponent intercepts passes flawlessly from any distance and from impossible angles. 3. Unstable Physical Fouls & Tactical Interceptions: Physical challenges, tactical fouls, and shirt-pulling or pushing mechanics are completely unstable and inconsistent. The refereeing logic fails to properly detect and penalize illegal physical contacts like pushing and pulling, while professional tactical fouls lack logical rules during matches. 4. Automatic Replay Skip Bug: The game frequently and automatically skips the replays of close attacks and dangerous shots. The game must be fixed to ensure that match replays for high-danger chances and close shots are always displayed and never skipped automatically. 5. Unfair Acceleration and Speed Balances: The acceleration dynamic is completely broken. There is no balance between teams, as the AI consistently possesses overwhelming superiority in speed, acceleration, and physical challenges, regardless of the individual players' statistics. 6. Flawed Match-End Logic: The referee blows the final whistle the exact second the clock runs out, even during an active counter-attack. The game must allow an advantage rule for last-minute attacks. I expect a realistic football simulation as promised. I hope the development team investigates these Simulation Gameplay defects immediately and delivers a balancing hotfix. Dear EA SPORTS Development Team, First of all, thank you for this excellent and highly enjoyable edition. In my opinion, this is the best version yet, and it will truly be the greatest if a few issues are fixed and some minor improvements are implemented. There is a noticeable issue in Player Career Mode regarding the stagnation of the Manager AI. I kindly request you to look into the following points for fixes and improvements: * Fixing Squad Freezing and Stagnation: Currently, the starting lineup completely freezes, and the manager insists on playing the exact same names all season long without any rotation. We need more squad variety throughout the season and a fix for this rigid lineup repetition. * Tactical Flexibility and Sub Variations: The rigidity in formations and playstyles needs to be resolved. There should be tactical variety across standard matches and big derbies. For instance, in knockout tournament stages, the manager should adapt and change tactics between the first and second legs depending on the aggregate score. Additionally, we need a fix for the repetitive substitution patterns where the exact same bench players come on every single match. * Dynamic Manager AI: A truly dynamic feature must be added to the Manager AI to allow better in-game reading, while fixing the tactical bugs mentioned in previous reports. * Interactive Tactical Instructions for the User: We highly suggest introducing a feature that displays clear tactical instructions from the manager to the user before and during the match. This should appear as an on-screen prompt or notification, ordering the player to: * Keep calm and maintain possession. * Apply high press. * Play crosses or long balls. * Drop back and counter-attack. * Focus on center or wings. * Focus on shooting. * Based on these real-time instructions, the formation dynamically shifts during the match, while fixing all the bugs mentioned in the previous sections. Wish you all the best, it is an excellent and highly enjoyable game, the best version in my view, and it will be the absolute best if these issues are fixed and minor developments are ad ded. Thank you.Crucial Fixes, Gameplay & UI Suggestions
I'm really enjoying the core direction of this year's Career Mode—the AI on Authentic difficulty feels much more competitive and aggressive, and squad rotation is a welcome mechanic. However, there are a few major issues and balance tweaks that I and many in the community (including the r/FifaCareers subreddit) hope can be addressed soon: - No Transfer/Loan Offers for Lower-Rated Players: Players around or below 65 OVR receive almost no incoming offers. This makes it virtually impossible to loan out Youth Academy prospects or clear out fringe squad members. - Scouting & Transfer Menu Lag: When a scouting report gets full, menu responsiveness drops drastically, causing loading times of up to 12 seconds per click. - Team Management UI Downgrades: The missing stat comparison highlights (which were present in previous years) and misaligned +/− indicators make comparing players unnecessarily tedious. - OVR Growth Tracking: It is currently very inconvenient to track OVR progression for both main squad members and loaned-out players without clear visual indicators in the main team overview. - Morality System Bug Affecting Player Ratings (-2 Sharpness/OVR): Because opponent teams (and your own reserve players) default to standard morale roughly 90% of the time, opposing star players frequently play with a -2 rating penalty, and there are rarely any positive outliers. Even when a player is in great form—for instance, Ulisse consistently producing goals and assists—they often sit at -2 sharpness when they should be boosted (e.g., to a 93 rating). Having more players in dynamic top form would add much-needed variety and realism. - Bench Sorting Reset Bug: The substitutes' bench constantly loses its assigned player sorting, requiring manual reorganization far too often. - Fitness & Recovery Balance: While fitness-based rotation is a good concept, it is currently slightly overtuned. Player recovery between matches needs to be boosted by around 10%—the required rotation is a bit too much as it stands. Addressing these quality-of-life, balance, and UI issues would make the game flow much better. I hope this feedback can be forwarded to the development team!Worst fc ever
I’ve bought every game since fifa international soccer. The first day released of 26 was geat. This is sooooooo bad I hate it and want my money back. Fc 27 is the worst football game I’ve ever played professional is way too easy world class is a nightmare. I seriously want my money back I play this game to relax not to lose my temper this is easily the worst fifa ever no to mention the overall in career mode and and players getting annoyed at everything and regens. They just made it the worst
Liga MX Bugs and Issues
And to top it all off, we keep dealing with the same problems every year. The game launches full of bugs and errors, and then, two weeks to a month later, we finally get the first patch to fix issues that should have been addressed before release. It feels like we’re being sold a demo instead of a complete game. Many of us, including myself, purchase the more expensive editions expecting a quality experience, yet the company continues releasing new editions to charge us even more. If you can’t deliver a complete, polished game with the resources you currently have, then hire more people or find better solutions. The community deserves much better than this. It’s time to deliver a complete game with a properly implemented Liga MX that actually lives up to what you promise.Career mode is a mess!
I love Career Mode. I’ve played it ever since it came out. My first issue is transfer requests. Injured players are automatically unhappy, whilst I understand that, they shouldn’t be telling me they want out because their ACL is buggered! Fix this immediately. Im not making a new career mode investing all my time into it just for a player to return from injury and immediately want to leave, also sort the morale out, a very happy player shouldn’t be requesting a move away, its not immersion, its a pain in the arse for the people trying to dedicate their time to a realistic career mode. Also, bring back office meetings with players for signing them and negotiating a new contract, I like the idea of the new negotiations, but add some variety, sometimes you’ll meet in a restaurant, and sometimes you’ll be on the phone to them. Bring back sharpness too, if a player has an injury, let us get them back to full fitness instead of being able to play someone for a full 90+ mins after they’ve just come back from a ACL. Please EA, we’re not asking much, just sort your stuff out and give us what we pay for every single year.Carrer mode
I recently started my chelsea save and now some key players want to leave enliven though their game time is good I had palmer out for 4 months then once he was back he requested a transfer how do you fix this I had the same happen to caicedo and the injury happened due to unexpected eventSo many issues
Let’s start off with the players I have players playing regularly in first team but they still comment that they aren’t getting game time. i also have players that are playing regularly and when you go to block offers it says they have requested transfer when there’s never been any indication of it and it shows they’re happy. im having to sell off my star players because of this stupid glitch. My issue with career mode
Bug Title: Live Snapshot Card Menu Freezes/Locks Manager SelectionDescription: In the Career Mode Live Start Points menu, clicking into a featured Live Snapshot card (like Liverpool vs. Manchester City) and selecting a manager (like Diego Simeone), then backing out before finishing creation, completely soft-locks the interface. The "Pick Your Manager" option disappears entirely and remains permanently stuck on the previously selected manager. Even deleting local "Personal Settings 1" data does not clear the server-side menu cache.
