F1 25 - VR image very blurry and out of focus
Hello. As a VR user, I'm very dissatisfied with the VR experience of F1 25. Despite using the highest graphics and VR settings, the game is very blurry and fuzzy. Even F1 24 and F1 23 looked better. Even with workarounds found online, the game doesn't look any better. How can a developer release a game for VR players in such a state? It's simply unacceptable. I was hoping for updates and improvements after release, but it seems no work is being done in this area. Or is something still planned? Feedback would also be great, as there are no answers to many bug reports.Black screen, only osd visible
Again with this, i play in VR and have a 9070xt, the game worked in the 1st day and after that was all pitch black on the actual race or practice...ive already deleted the hardware files over and over again, i changed the AA multiple times, i changed resolutions and changed graphic settings, ive checked the game files the vr files the ea app files and the steam files..still pitch black, only osd and sound...outside the 3d everything works...ive even tried to add the game to the steamlib to see if it worked but to no avail, i can even see the blurry game behind the pause menu. To meation that if i look to the monitor i have, the game is there....rendering wellVR is broken
Whenever I start the game in VR mode, everything looks fine, until I get to actual gameplay (garage/driving). The view is broken, each eye looking in some random direction. Resetting VR position does nothing. I have also tried many other options, tweaking settings, closest I got to "fixing" it was overriding scale to 50%, but even in that case, it is still slightly headachy, and just looks overall horrible. The problem is on PC, using a PS VR2 connected through the official PS VR adapter, with an AMD RX 9070 XT through DP 1.4. Other games work perfectly fine with no tweaking.VR Particles Different Per-Eye
I figured I'd try a bit of VR. Although as of 1.15 (haven't tested since the 1.16 update, but I'm pretty sure it'd be the same), I noticed that per-eye, the particles are displayed differently. I'm sure the monitor itself displays things normally, this is just an issue in the headset specifically. (To be clear, this isn't an issue with the headset directly, but how the game is displayed in each eye.) Using spray as an example, if I have a car ahead of me with its right side tyres generating spray, and I turned my wheel 90-degrees, which happens to block the spray, in the right eye, it would be blocked properly. In the left eye though, I could see that "phantom" effect copied over, like some weird "shadow" effect displaying in the left eye from the spray being blocked. It's like there's two different display particles that are combined, but also not really. I haven't recorded or screenshot anything, but I do hope the devs revisit the VR side of things. I'd hope it's a simple fix!Safety car - cinematic bug
Hello, I play F1 25 using a VR headset oculus Rift but I got 2 safety car bugs. On the F1 World, I played twice the F2 LA 50% GP and got a safety car on both tries. I have a B licence forcing me to have the cinematic safety car. Entering cinematic mode removes the 3D immersive view and never comes back even at the end of the safety car cinematic. When it occured I played to the end of the GP and then could not leave the race as no menu showed up and still in 2D mode. I have seen that this bug might have been reported a long time ago and is still there unfortunately. Regards, Yves159VR broken after safety car
Hey, I'm using the cinematic safety car option. So VR changes from 3D to 2D theater. At the end of the safety car phase it doesn't change back to 3D. It stays in flat screen theatre mode. Also if then use the rewind option the game freezes completely. Thanks for looking into it. Somehow I am unable to convert the xml files from my hardware settings to .txt Even if I change the file name ending to txt it stays xml. So I am unable to supply these files in this report. DxDiag is attached. I am using a Meganex8K with a native steamVR driver.VR not working (AMD 9070XT)
I also askes AMD about this issue: On my GPU 9070XT i still have a VR issue. Tried everything with new and the latest 25.10.2 driver but no luck. So i'm back on the AMD 25.4.1 release (amd-software-adrenalin-edition-25.4.1-win10-win11-apr22-rdna). INGAME: Tried everything, but i still get a strange grey image in VR and only the HUD ingame is showing correctly (with F1 25). I saw posts online with positive results. Is there anything you can do? Or do you have any tips/tricks? Note: this only occurs in F1 25, all other games DO workVR Head Tracking Issues
Hey all, The head tracking/wobble/jitter issues this game has lands it with the award for the worst VR implementation of any Sim racing title I have experienced. (I'm sure there are worse out there). And what a great shame it is, too, as it really could be something quite great and I'm sure for flat screen gamers it may be... Is it? EA say they want to make good and fix it but, after a lot of reading on this issue and radio silence on their behalf for quite awhile now, I'm not sure I believe they ever will. A lot of you who have supported the franchise year after year, hoping for more, must be so disappointed in these guys, how are you still supporting them? Seeing I don't believe the devs will ever truly fix this, my question is to you guys, the continual VR players... How did you get around the wobbly/spewy head issue? Is there anything we can do to make it any better? I really want to like this game but in its current state I don't think my eyes and guts can take the punishment required to do so. Many thanks. No Anti-Aliasing Options in VR mode
Trying to get VR up and running after getting the non-vr graphics settings setup, and I found that there are no options beyond TAA and TAA + Sharpening while playing in VR mode. I doubt this is intentional because DLSS and FSR were available in VR for F1 23 and F1 24. I tried to circumvent this with the XML file by manually setting the correct values for DLAA, but it did not seem to work. Hopefully this can be fixed promptly because TAA looks absolutely terrible and blurry. I have a question: Why are the trees in the distance not being rendered but only do so when you approach or near it? This make everything in the distance blurry, it's not because the rendered objects in the distance is blurry, but it was never rendered completely to begin with, thus making any distance objects blurry. Please fix!
