Fanatec DD+ Extreme
I bought the game the day it came out and immediately loved it, for as long as I could. But I haven't been able to play since March 2024 because the game is incompatible with Fanatec's flagship PS5 bundle (DD+ Extreme). I don't understand how this is possible given that EA is one of the top publishers in all of gaming. It's understandable when newer titles are no longer able to support older hardware. But with current gen consoles I've never encountered a game that REQUIRES older hardware. Such a shame. I understand there won't be any more expansions at this point. But can you PLEASE get this compatibility issue solved before bowing out entirely?? I would love to play again.Fanatec DD+ Extreme Not Working On PS5
For some reason this fault was reported over a year ago, it's still not fixed, and the original report thread has been moved to the archive section. Fanatec DD+ Xtreme not recognized | EA Forums - 8348433 This is an official PS5 wheelbase so please sort the input mapping for the DD+ Extreme wheel. Currently the game is unplayable for any users of this wheelbase and has been for over a year.Moza Racing support is still a bit broken
No preset for RS V2 CRP preset should be named CRP/CRP2 internally the same device SGP shifter has it's functions reversed (gear up on push instead of pull) No preset for CRP2 (but it's going to be identical to SRP and CRP, they are now sending out the pre-orders) HGP Handbrake only has one mode defined for both operations (direct and wheelbase). It's presets have to define both axis mode and button mode Pedals have different deadzones in direct and wheelbase presets. I normalized the values. They were lowered as well as Moza users prefer setting deadzones in software I linked the CS V2P and RSv2 dials to the appropriate icons. Sadly, there's no icon for `dial_2_press` Please, please remove the protected status from the navigation binding for all devices besides the keyboard. Some people might still feel uncomfortable with these new presets and would want to rebind some things. Everybody has their own preferences for select/back location. These functions are the most important and should be as comfortable as possible No preset for SRP-Lite pedals. Sadly, I can't help with this one at the moment. Please allow users to select "None" as a sub_device. If someone only has a wheelbase, they might be confused by the fact, they have to select random rims etc, to complete the setup. Selecting "None" would be way more understandable in such cases ES rim preset is actually for the ESX (xbox version). This needs adjustememnt and new preset for ES wheel I patched/created these presets myself: https://github.com/Lawstorant/wrc-moza-presetsWheel calibration and bindings STILL reseting every time I close the game...wth
Xbox series X, fanatec csl dd. wheel calibration and key bindings still resetting each time the game is closed. FFB doesnt work on quick resume so you must fully close the game. The latter issue has been broken since launch. Not to mention H pattern shifters arent working at all. Will the countless issues ever be fixed? This game is too broken. I guess it's back to Dirt Rally 2.0Button Mapping Reset on Every Game Start
Button mappings are reset on every start of the game. PS5, Thrustmaster T300RS and Spraco R383 Wheel Was fixed in V1.4 Fixed an issue that caused certain input devices to require recalibration after the game has been rebooted. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Updates/EA-SPORTS-WRC-Version-1-4-0-Patch-Notes/m-p/13293875#M6 Broken again in 1.5Podium Button Module Rally wird nicht erkannt
Gran Turismo DD Extreme Calibrates but does not work in Game for PS5
Hi, I recently purchased the following Fanatec setup: Gran Turismo DD Extreme ClubSport Pedals V3 ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5 ClubSport Handbrake V2 I have everything run through the DD Hub and I have updated to the latest firmware (today) using my PC. What works: When I open EA WRC on my PS5 it detects the wheel in either PS5 mode and in PS4/PS5 Compatibility Mode and I can calibrate it. In PS5 mode the calibration also shows the correct button inputs (including gears selected and all the PS buttons). In PS4/PS5 Compatibility Mode it does not seem to register the buttons but it does allow calibration of steering and pedal input. What doesn't work: In either mode I cannot use the wheel to navigate the games menus and (more importantly) when trying to race the game does not recognize gear shifts at all (it does recognize steering and pedal input though). This setup works perfectly in Gran Turismo. I have yet to try EA F1 2024 or Dirt 2.0, both of which I own and will be trying next. Any assistance would be very helpful.Thrustmaster T500 RS - FFB missing
