wheel freezing during race or time trial (fanatec dd+) (ps5)
I own a Fanatec DD+ wheelbase and DD Extreme wheels. I play F1 25 on my PS5. However, during races or time trials, the FFB suddenly cuts out, and nothing works except the throttle and brake pedals. The game only responds to wheel rotation and throttle/brake. Paddle shifters and other buttons on the wheel don't respond, and the LED screen freezes. To get the system working again, I have to turn it off and on using the button on the wheelbase. After doing this, the same problem can recur when I continue the game. This problem occurs randomly, sometimes within a few laps of starting the game, sometimes after half an hour. It can happen on straightaways, downshifting, upshifting or in low or high-speed corners. My Fanatec software, PS5 software, and F1 25 game are all up-to-date. I don't encounter this problem in any other game besides F1 25. I was experiencing the same problem even before the last patch. I don't use any USB hub and I don't have any hardware issues. I only use the power button to turn on my PS5. I don't use a controller when turning on my PS5 or playing the game, and I keep the controller constantly turned off. I'm not sure if they're related to this issue, but I'm sharing a few report codes I encountered in the game after this problem: JBLC-ZJJM-CVVM-BSMT XTHP-HPDV-RZVM-BSMT RVVM-DDJX-GJDM-BSMT PBCH-DJHM-RCDM-BSMTMoza R5 Oversteering issue on Xbox Series X
Hi, just got a Moza R5 with ESX wheel (Xbox compatible), but I'm having issues with oversteering. When the wheel is at about 45 degrees, the settings show that it caps out on 100 steering, which is obviously incorrect. The base rotates 360 degrees outside of the track. There are also FFB oscillations in stationary position. Attaching the video, hoping to escalate to fix. It should also be noted and might be a clue that these issues are not present on PC with identical base and game settings. Same issue in F1 24.F1 25 1.14 - Xbox - Logitech G Pro - TrueForce not working after session restart
I have an issue with my Logitech G Pro wheel connected to my Xbox when playing F1 25. It was with the 1.13 patch and is still there after 1.14 patch update. Everytime I restart the session in F1 championship mode (either race, qualy or practice session) a TrueForce feature stops working - there is a feedback, but all vibrations coming from TrueForce are gone. I need to switch off the wheel and start it again to make TrueForce work again. It's very annoying. My wheel is updated with latest software version through Logitech Hub, so the issue must be on the game side. Please fix it in the next patch update.IMOLA + rain buggy???
Guys... I tried IMOLA about 20 times... Everytime the rain starts, it is totaly destroying my race completely. Sometimes I crash, okay. But most times I am not able to switch to WET tires!?!? It started raining in round 12, I am on MEDs, then I get first message from my engineer, that my tires looking great and I should stay out for some more rounds, when I instead should get the message to get maybe to the box and changing to WETs! Then I thought "Okay, let's have a look in the strategy menue, maybe I can change to WETs" ...and NOPE! Then I left the 30 second counter drop to zero, the rain become heavier, then I get again the message, that my tires looking great bla bla... Again no chance to change to WETs. Next round the track is realy wet and slippery, I tried to call my team for Box and my team said "We can't get you in this round. Stay one more out!" WTF? Then I tried it later again the same round and then it was possible to get in. And what happend?? I got SS tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No chance to change to WETs in any menu!!! What is wrong with WETs in IMOLA?!?!?!?Fanatec DD+ Extreme Not Working On PS5
For some reason this fault was reported over a year ago, it's still not fixed, and the original report thread has been moved to the archive section. Fanatec DD+ Xtreme not recognized | EA Forums - 8348433 This is an official PS5 wheelbase so please sort the input mapping for the DD+ Extreme wheel. Currently the game is unplayable for any users of this wheelbase and has been for over a year.Wrong tires changed in box
Hi! There is a problem with the tires when it start raining and you should get wets... I was driving F2 career mode in IMOLA and it started raining. My Engineer told me to get soon to the box to change to Wet tires. I had been right in front of the box entrance, so I could get to the box right after he told me. I get in, and the team changed my tires from Meds to Supersofts... 😩 ...like I am sitting in a FERRARI, LOL 😂 Almost all of my enemies get also to box right behind me and they got Wets, so my lead was gone far away and I had to restart the session...Logitech pro wheel
I have basically no force feedback with the pro wheel unless I use it in the g923 mode. I read that the pro wheel is compatible and the game recognizes the pro wheel in the ffb settings in game but no matter what I get no ffb just can steer and feel the curbs. Why is this and is there a solution for it. Please help. Thx in advancePartial FFB: On PC with Logitech G Pro wheel
I'm having the same issue on PC with my Logitech G Pro wheel. Partial FFB, can feel curbs and ground effects, but no wheel weight, it feels terrible. My wheel works fine on other games. Please fix. I've reinstalled and updated everything, and it still doesn't work.F1 25 Xbox – Steering Input Scaling Issue with Logitech RS50 Direct Drive Wheel
Hello Codemasters / EA Support Team, I would like to report a steering input scaling issue in F1 25 on Xbox Series X when using a Logitech RS50 direct drive wheel. Issue Description: When playing F1 25 on Xbox Series X with the Logitech RS50 wheel, steering input is significantly over-amplified. Even when both the wheel base and the in-game settings are set to 360 degrees rotation, very small physical steering movements result in the in-game steering reaching full lock almost instantly. Confirmed Settings: RS50 base rotation set to 360° In-game Wheel Rotation set to 360° Steering Deadzone = 0 Steering Saturation = 0 Steering Linearity = 0 No gamepad connected Local save data cleared and control profiles rebuilt Same hardware works perfectly in Forza Motorsport 2023 (Xbox) Same hardware works perfectly in F1 25 on PC Observation: This issue appears to be specific to the Xbox version of F1 25. It suggests that the Xbox version may still be using a legacy steering input handling method that does not correctly support modern high-resolution direct drive wheels, causing incorrect steering angle scaling. Affected Hardware: Logitech RS50 Logitech G Pro Wheel (reported by community) Other Direct Drive wheels (Fanatec DD, etc.) This issue significantly affects drivability and realism. I hope the development team can review the steering input handling on Xbox and provide a fix in a future update. Thank you for your time and support. Kind regards, Moss Cheng.
