Softlock Megathread [Last Updated: 12/05/2026]
Hello, fellow skaters! We continue to see reports of players getting soflocked at various points. The old thread has more than 9005 comments, and sometimes it is difficult for the team to organise and spot new issues within all the reports. That's why we have decided to open a new megathread to work on the most recent softlock issues. If you are softlocked, please provide the following information: Platform Mission/Challenge? If Mission, what step in the Mission? Can you describe how you got stuck and provide some screenshots? Username you're playing with (Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA ID - no emails. We'll assume it's the account you're posting with as well.) Please be as thorough as you can when sharing your information, as this will help the team investigate and help unstuck other players in the future. Also, in order to keep you informed, we will update this thread every week with the number of players we have unlocked. We will include a description of the issue we worked on. PC - Supercharge pack not received after redeeming on xbox app
I upgraded my gamepass subscription to ultimate so I could get the Supercharge Pack. My accounts are linked and have had ea play though xbox game pass for awhile. The rewards for the supercharge pack are not showing up in skate. I can see the pack on the xbox app under benefits> codes you've already grabbed. As a PC only user am I doing something wrong?
BOXES BLOCKED
Loot Boxes not opening. Playing on Xbox. I’ve got over 20k rip chips & shows I’m eligible to open my next boxes but they are all blacked out & wont let me access them. I’ve tried going to the extra vert shops designated to the areas, reinstalling the game, signing in & out of my EA account, & still no fix. This has been since season 1. Saw some people had this issue & it fixed itself, but unfortunately not my luck. Definitely would like to unlock more gear so any help the team can give is appreciated. I have attached a video for example if needed.Forced main stance and camera angle switch.
My main stance randomly gets forced from regular to goofy even though I have it locked. At the same time the camera angle gets forced from high to low. This **bleep** has been in since Season 01 and still not fixed. It happens over and over even during normal skating. In challenges it even forces me to start goofy every **bleep** time. It is beyond annoying. Fix this already.
HUD bug, it's in the middle of my screen
The wheel HUD for session marking, chats, etc. is right in the middle of my screen after booting into the game. I forget what it's called but usually its in the bottom left. I'm on an Xbox One x. Lost connection because my network is spotty and upon reloading the game, it's in the correct spot. Sorry, it went out so fast I couldn't take a pic or screenshot :/Party join bug
We were doing a Quick Drop to play as a party of four and got force disconnected for no reason which pissed me off as hell. After reconnecting I tried to rejoin the same server by selecting one of my friends but it keeps forcing me into a random stranger’s party instead of my friend’s. I’m not even selecting them. This happens over and over dozens of times and I can’t form a party with my friends anymore. Fix this ASAP.
Infinite black screen
Yesterday me and a random were out exploring the isle of grom, my game bugged out (no issue there) restated the game and after being greeted with the NikeSB event pop up I am stuck in a black screen with what sounds like world ambient audio playing. I have no access to menus, options, anything at all. Just a pure black screen. (Xbox one btw) I've left it to time out, hard reset, cache and game deleting, reinstalling. I have not found a solution, any chance at all you know about this and have a fix?
