Hind/Condor
- still too much HP
- flares still can be popped too frequently
- 40mm cannon will be the new meta(duh).
- still too many available in 64 player game modes. If you’re going to halve the total numbers of infantry, you need to do the same with vehicles. 1 Hind, 1 Condor per team for 64 player game modes. Add more quad runners, import the Blackhawk transport and the light jeep from portal and add them to all game modes.
- remove 50mm and 40mm. Replace nose cannon with a minigun and be done with it. Transports need to be transports and not mobile infantry farming platforms.
Vehicles
- 30mm, 40mm, and 50mm splash damage will still plague the average infantry players experience almost every minute of the match on most maps.
- Every single vehicle in game except for the quad runner is driving around spamming low skill level, 30mm, 40mm, or 50mm splash damage. The resulting “Insta” death comes often and frequently with zero warning from all ranges for infantry players from these hated weapons. How’s an infantry player supposed to counter these ever present cheese mode weapons?
- suggest removing all 30mm, 40mm and 50mm cannon from all tranports. Replace with minigun or .50 cal heavy machine gun. Previous BF games are great with lightly armed, light transports!
- please implement proper flak physics for Wildcat 40mm and 57mm flak rounds versus aircraft. Proper flak physics exist in BFV, a game set in the 1940s, but apparently does not exist the year 2042.
Stealth Helo
- strong vs infantry
- strong vs vehicles
- strong versus enemy air
- stealth and flares
- strong vs AA missiles
- PICK ONE DICE! This aircraft is insanely OP with a single set up.
- suggest reducing total number of bombs and significantly increase the cooldown.
- 30mm cannon OR bombs. Not both. If the player chooses bombs then the only upgrade to the nose gun should be .50 cal heavy machine gun. The .50 cal HMG would be strong vs enemy air and vs light skinned vehicles but would take much more pilot skill to take out individual infantry.
- all infantry weapons in game and all ammo types should be able to damage the Stealth Helos and knock the helo out of Stealth.
- totally remove flares. Flares plus stealth mode = game breaking.
- give us reasons to choose the little bird or jets over the Hannibal or Huron. Right now the only reason to take the little bird is nostalgia. The jets are a joke vs enemy air.
Misc
- duck diving while swimming?
- map rotations for all game modes?
- Server Browser for all game modes?
- a functional squads UI page that shows all squads? The ability to join any squad of our choosing? Like we see/do in all previous BF games.
- quad runners as call in?
- please tweak quad runners to be more like the quad runners in BF4. Higher top speed, quicker at getting to top speed and better handling. Oversteering is horrible in 2042 compared to the quad runners in BF4. BF4 quads feel lighter and much more agile.
- stop the forced spawn in at the beginning of each round. DICE did the same with BFV and it was hated by the fans. Thankfully the BFV team quickly got rid of this annoying mechanic thanks to listening player feedback. How is this mistake being repeated?
- pre match. After we choose a vehicle allow us to still see the objectives, change our loadouts, change settings, deselect our vehicle, change squads, see the scoreboard, exit the match etc.

Do not listen to this man! The stealth birds allow me to live out my dreams of being a god, smiting all the little people on the ground with impunity, and laughing in the face of attempts to shoot me down, whether by air or ground.
But no seriously, don't nerf stealth choppers unless you nerf fatbirds at the same time. They're both OP, and stealth choppers are basically the only way to kill well-flown and well-gunned fatbirds (unless you crew one of your own, but frankly most gunners are potato). Give us a way to let our squadmates have priority seating on the gunner positions in the transports. If you're in Discord with a crew, it's so frustrating to fly around with a blind idiot in the cannon shooting at bushes a quarter mile away while you're hovering 20 feet above a guy with a stinger, screaming in frustration.
