This is a most welcome buff to what was a useless cannon.
What about the 30mm version? will it receive any changes? It also has some serious dispersion/velocity issues

My 1.1.0 feedback
mostly nothing about the game atm, but;
- Battlefields 2042 EA Forums needs responses from CM's.
- Need to close down reddit r/battlefield2042, because what's the point if it's forsaken by DICE.
- Battlefield Discord needs to be closed down, it's splitting community too much on all these social platforms.
- Twitter is fine for news, upcoming updates and fixes. But CM's and DEV's should stop answering to random people's questions over on Twitters, not only it's wasteful, but how do we know that they're the real BF2042 community. For example, one of DEV answered to some questions about Battle Pass on Twitters, which is nice and all.. but it would be much better to make a proper guide on these EA Forums, so that everyone can see and understand!

- And most importantly, we need more content like maps and guns! I thought the pre-season was for all these bug fixes, but now we're on Season 1 and still getting mostly just some bug fixes. Haven't tested 1.1.0 update yet, but I hope the old (no ADS), (bad mouse input), (stuck in blown up transport helicopters) bugs and issues are fixed. 👍❤️
- 4 years ago@Dedzigs I fully agree with centralising official discussion. So many EA reps refer people to this forum, however they never ever respond or provide support here. Like the time the map rotation was broken for TWO Weeks at the start of season 1, there was a thread here in 48hrs of it occuring. Not 1 single reply from EA, had to get an answer spamming EAs twitter 10 days later. You get more help spamming twitter, which isn't helpful for useful discussion and discourse and addressing major critical issues such as that.

The quote didn't pull over - but this was in response to 25mm jet cannons getting a buff, and advocating for the 30mm as well
Agreed, I can't overstate this enough. The jet cannons have suffered from this immensely. I'm ok with a shorter firing burst or slower cooldown to balance it, if it means actually being effective when hitting targets. The projectile speed is SO slow compared to previous modern titles, it almost seems like they based it off of WW1 era plane guns.
In addition to dispersion reduction and projectile velocity increase, I'd love to see:
1.) Jets be in their own category
2.) Make kills and assists (or kills + vehicle damages) count for progression in addition to destroys. Destroys only undermines a lot of great work jets can do in disabling or disrupting vehicles that wind up having enough teammate get the final hit on.
