this points is not working > "Voice Chat options now show you which device is being used for voice input"
Voice is not usable at the moment for me. The audio out uses my right monitor which is my secondary monitor.
But I play on my main monitor with headphones. Here you have to have an option that you can choose which input and which output you want to use.
For example I have two audio in devices one of which is a microphone which I want to use and the other a blutooth speaker with mircophone which I do not want to use.
I think you should be able to set such things in the game settings and not that you have to adjust your system settings for it
Here are screenshots of the in game settings, there are no device information:

@CountSero Potato sound settings, still waiting for that Battlefield 1 kill sound to be added.
To help choose what device an application uses as "Input and Outputs", if you're on Windows 10, try going to "Sound" settings, then under "Advanced sound options" you will see "App volume and device preferences", in there you should be able to manually designate what sound devices Battlefield 2042 or any application for that matter, to be used as its input and outputs. This image shows the panel I'm referencing. - 4 years ago@S3SSioN_SoL so then explain me please why i have game sound on my headphones and the voice audio on the speaker of the monitor ? 😉
i think i know how to setup my windows mate, i have an 200€ sound card and for this thing i made my prefered system settings so that everything sounds good
in the past it was common that you could make such settings in the game but nowadays it's all about money and you save money where you can.
you just make a design for consoles (which do not need such settings) and develop the PC menu from it but some things fall by on the way to the finish (like device settings)- S3SSioN_SoL4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@CountSeroGuess that's proof money can't fix all problems then. Hope you manage to fix your problem then.
