@CountSero Potato sound settings, still waiting for that Battlefield 1 kill sound to be added.
To help choose what device an application uses as "Input and Outputs", if you're on Windows 10, try going to "Sound" settings, then under "Advanced sound options" you will see "App volume and device preferences", in there you should be able to manually designate what sound devices Battlefield 2042 or any application for that matter, to be used as its input and outputs.

@S3SSioN_SoL so then explain me please why i have game sound on my headphones and the voice audio on the speaker of the monitor ? 😉
i think i know how to setup my windows mate, i have an 200€ sound card and for this thing i made my prefered system settings so that everything sounds good
in the past it was common that you could make such settings in the game but nowadays it's all about money and you save money where you can.
you just make a design for consoles (which do not need such settings) and develop the PC menu from it but some things fall by on the way to the finish (like device settings)

@CountSeroGuess that's proof money can't fix all problems then. Hope you manage to fix your problem then.
