@Zhukov211It's almost like Rao and Lis' exist to compensate for the vehicles...
There are so many ways to deal with the vehicles...
The old transports were taxis, taxis that could barely survive a grenade. There's no way I want those flying coffins back if it means the Hind/Condor becomes taxis that just get discarded to traverse the map.
@S3SSioN_SoLThe “old taxis” as you say, exist in Battlefield games that are by any quantifiable measurement, vastly superior to and infinitely more popular than Battlefield 2042.
Denigrating extremely popular aspects of previous games of the franchise in order to defend the broken state of the Hind and Condor is laughable.
You fail to realize that the new formula that is 2042 is not popular. Those of us that want to help DICE get back the old magic that is Battlefield are telling you that the Hind and Condor are part of the problem. These are extremely destructive, attack platforms, not transports. That’s in addition to the other attack helicopters present every match.
FYI it’s not fun being constantly farmed by attack helos and the Hind/Condor every single Conquest match. It’s somewhat like having to deal with a Zeppelin every single match. Not nearly as bad as the Zeppelin but always there, always altering the way we play. It’s just NOT FUN.
2042 doesn’t feel like any BF game I’ve experienced. Omnipresent Hind and Condor are contributing to the negative vibes. That’s coming from someone that’s played thousands of hours as Engineer in previous titles. So it’s not about know how or lack of effort to take down aircraft.
We need more airborne taxis and less flying death machines. The Hind and Condor should be moved to the attack aircraft spawn pool.
In fact I’d love to see the data on Hind/Condor total kills compared to all other airframes. I’d guess that the Hind/Condor outpace all other airframes as far as total kills.

@Zhukov211 Whilst I was always in agreement that the Hind/Condor needs its miniguns to have greater spread and faster overheating.
I believe they are far better than the "transport Helis" of previous games, gameplay wise.
They offer a more fun and engaging experience and that's what matters at the end of the day as that is what keeps pilots flying them and not kamikazeing them into an objective.
Furthermore, as mentioned by others, the current vehicle pool is not a great environment to balance vehicles in because Jets are basically non existent, and Jets really are what keeps air vehicles in check.- 4 years ago@S3SSioN_SoL I agree with most.
Just remove the damned 40mm GL and remove the 50mm from Hind and Condor = problems solved.
3 Miniguns would still be beast mode.
