This takes away everything BF2042 was built upon. Freedom of choice.
Now you will be FORCED to have either, a good character with * gadgets, or a bad character with good gadgets instead of playing with both a good character and a good gadget that YOU the player can pick and have full choice.
Really think about it, what is the point of having classes at all? You don’t need classes when you can make YOUR OWN class, play YOUR OWN way.
Everyone that complains about classes are people stuck on the past that want BF2042 to be like Call of Duty, they want to have the exact same * game being sold to them over and over every year with no changes no enhancements and nothing new, they want everything other Battlefield has been, so honestly, if you want classes, if you want to have no freedom of choice, if you wanna have a boring simple character that has nothing different and can do nothing special than other people, then where is the fun?!?! And why aren’t you just playing another Battlefield that IS the way you want it? If what you want is all the old stuff, why not just play that then?!
I’ll either have to not update and force myself to play only against AI, never play again, or since I’ll be having the exact same game, why not just go back to Battlefield 4?
And I think all options are complete *, I should be able to play a new game and the way it was meant to be played and whatever way I WANT to play. * ridiculous to have listened to the minorities that refused to play or even try the game at all without even trying the game the way it was to begin with.
I agree with you 100%! Unfortunately, EA/DICE are covering their butts for the sake of future sales. Personally, I want evolution with every new game: better graphics (we got) more destruction (didn't really get because of XB1 and PS4 players), more gadgets/weapons (kind of got), and bigger maps (got it, then basically taken away), and more player (received, with complaints).
When a new Battlefield game is released it should make you want to go get a job to buy a better PC or Console to get the best experience. No more pandering to the last generation, of GTX 10 series owners. Give us, the players, YOUR BEST!
I feel exactly the same as you. You have basically said everything I am annoyed about. The new class system is trash. It's totally ruined the game for me personally. How can dice even justify what they've done here. So now just to throw a grenade you need to press R1 then L2. Tell me dice ' How is that progress?' And you're right about dice only listening to the minority instead of the majority. They honestly think this rubbish update is going to get them more players lol. I for one won't be playing again that's for sure. I want to be able to play a game. Get good at it. Without it changing everything I liked about it after I've already brought it. I'm so annoyed so sorry for the rant.

I got mines instead of ammo crates and I can't change this.
Breakaway is really good right now.
But discarded after the cuts became terrible, as well as 64 players on the maps.
Boring.

You said it bud! * all their * "updates" changing the whole layout that you're used to, and setting up barriers where there used to be freedom. Gob aweful it is.
I so agree with you @Explosive_Oats . The freedom of choice you had to make your own layouts and custom slots were great. It made the difference towards the other silly shooters. Who are these few moaners who seem to determine what changes are needed?
Now we're stuck again in modes/classes made up by Dice instead of making your own choices. Introducing flir scopes: as if you're not exposed enough in BF2042, making choppers unlockable below 30 mtrs, yeah why not, as if they're not op enough, just add more.
The game is getting worse by the update, all because of the so called listening to us, the players. Wonder how many players want the classes back, can't be that much

This update was *, in addition to changing the model of being able to place any item on any character, the game was full of serrations in QHD. at least they could have put a separate model mode one with the old unconstrained model and the other with the new model constrained.
Exactly. Why totally change a game that's been out for this long? New Classes are hated. Back to COD I go...
W bfy gram od 1942 , mam wszystkie , po ostatnim patchu jestem bardzo niemiło zaskoczony , zepsuli fajną grę , szkoda , bo na prawdę było fajnie , teraz jest tak , że jeden czołg pozamiata wszystkich , po patchu odejdzie wielu graczy , niestety popsuliście grę.
