What the F… did y’all do? I mean seriously the game was great when classes were thrown away and we could be whatever we wanted to be. Now we are forced to go back to older style battlefields after almost 3 seasons of playing this awesome futuristic way, back to this slog of bs which is older way of thinking and playing, how many freaking cry babies out there did it take for y’all to lose your damn minds? And how many of these cry babies have even played battlefield for more than one title if even that? Now sure there are or were should I say now where that freedom of creativity was game breaking prime example on stranded if playing rush or break through if someone playing Mackay used his grapple shot got on top of the ship and also was using say a sniper and also had an ammo crate could essentially cause havoc for the rushing team, however I only ran into this issue once in a blue moon and if that was an issue the simplest non major gameplay altering choice here would be to make the top of the ship out of bounds, atleast in these two game types, granted I’m sure there are other maps where certain classes excelled but that was the whole original bloody point wasn’t it your weapons gadgets affected how your played but it didn’t effect your no-pat choice you picked the character based on the map or mode you was playing or hell picked it out of pure preference of how the character looked or acted. Prime example I originated played Casper mainly because had a bonus skin for him then unlocked the frogman suite later on he was primary choice not to mention the sensor on his suite was a nice alert system to me when I was being snuck up on. But recently I swapped over to Mackay because of the Creeping Death Bundle that had the sick looking dxr skin and the operator skin but because the dxr is a sniper and Mackay is now an assault class his preferred/profiecenty weapon is an assault rifle so I assume I’ll get some short of debuff or reduction in handling (scope in time, reload speed, gun bob,) for not using his desired weapon and while I’m on the subject what the heck is with this preferred weapon nonsense? I skimmed over the update and still haven’t seen anything that tells what this does? Moving on to weapons why is it that aim down sight time was increased with pistols when before it was just as fast if not faster than your primary weapon, which by the way the time to aim down sights with your primary regardless of weapon class is the same???
I get three extra clips of ammo for my assault rifle big freaking woohoo if I was carrying the ammo crate like I was originally big freaking deal I basically had infinite ammo
LMG-support gets better bullet groupings when crouched ( isn’t this how it is its most modern day shooter and kinda common sense as you have a better center of gravity when crouched???)
Engineer/smg faster draw times (again a big freaking duh smgs are meant to be fast to get into ready position and a faster RPM that’s the trade off for ammo capacity and damage.
Scout-DMR/SR constant steadier scope… seriously again not really needed most snipers are either crouched or prown unless that are discovered in which case they are moving around
