Why would we specifically need to thank the developers for something that should have been there from the start. 

Only people who aren't happy with the product join these threads anyway... what did one expect...

I'm happy with the latest patch, it requires a totally different game play, but adapting to it is no problem...  I don't have these issues but still too bad many users are plagued with stutter or high TN... If Dice would drop CPU load to 80% it would make many happy... ah and fix the controller woes for the consoles
