DICE TeamI have been enjoying 2042 despite the state of the game and it's shortcomings. Having played the franchise for 20 years, Dice have patched their way out of prior Battlefield problems but this was accomplished by committed and passionate developers who have since left Dice.
I want to believe the new Dice team can turn the game around and address all the bugs and missing features but I'm starting to believe they simply aren't as capable as the developers of old.
Looking back across all the Battlefield releases, my view is that Battlefield 3 was simply the best product released by Dice. I have no interest in playing the old Battlefields now as I've played them all to death.
But I will no doubt continue to play 2042 until the seasons end but I think this may well be my last Battlefield game.
