Battlefield 2042 - Update #3.3.1 [Xbox One Only]

Edit: Update 3.3.3.1 is now available to download on Xbox One, and should be grabbed automatically the next time you load the game. If you're not seeing the update, perform a complete power cycle of your Xbox One by pressing and holding the Xbox Power Button until the system fully turns off. When the device restarts, you should see that the update is acquired for download when you next attempt to load the game.

Hey Folks,

Tomorrow (March 15th) at 9 AM UTC, we will be deploying a small hotfix to Xbox One to address an instance of instability that we've noticed after the release of Update #3.3.

This is a zero downtime deployment, and Xbox One players will be required to download this hotfix in order to resume play shortly after the stated time.

  • Fixed common crash on XB1 related to muting players in text chat

    I mean...this simply isn't true. The thread is wholly incomplete and many major bugs have been on there since January and remain unpatched. There's nothing "real-time" about it outside of documenting how poor of a job DICE is doing at tracking major bugs and how little work is being done to address them with any expediency.

    @SushiiCombo Unironically yes, this is good * and I wish we saw them addressing issues this quickly across the board, and then communicating the fix.

    Tbh I’m a lot less worried about a silly little bug that only happens when you mute someone ! What about all the times you spawn in and have no gun for at least a min or so? Then vehicles glitching all over the place when blown up. Then on top of that theres barley any cover on the 8 maps we do have where did all the maps go when I downloaded this game I kinda expected more than 8 maps with little to 0 cover. I love the game but to be honest I’m a little disappointed in the lack of maps or cover that we have to use

    I would like thank EA and DICE. Due to your mismanagement, and amateurish creation you all call BF2042. I was forced to seek better games to enjoy. Because of your incompetence I discovered the game Borderlands 3. I know this isn't the same type of FPS, but for an older game, it provides a more polished and complete gaming experience. 

    If it wasn't for you I would of never found out I actually liked Borderlands 3. I even discovered Generation Zero. So thanks for being so lame. Good looking out....lol 👌

    @WUESTSIDER_X Man, I need to play more Generation Zero. Barely touched it but like, riding a bike around and then shooting some robots was pretty fun.
