Idk if it's a bug or by design but the Nightbird default (non-zoomed) crosshair feels off, not centered and a bit floaty. You have to zoom every time you switch to cockpit view to get it centered and static and by doing so the screen jerks every time when switching. It's a bit weird. I hope it's a bug and it gets fixed ASAP.

@Straatford87 Wait unable.to load persistent data bug.has finally been fixed? I might have to reinstall....when new content comes out
Yes, in this Update we resolved further instances of this error occurring. However, note that "Unable To Load Persistence Data" is still a general connection error - so you might still see it pop up at times.
To clarify, what we resolved are some of the instances we could find where it wasn't a connection error on the player side that caused the issue.

One bug that is still present is loadouts getting reset because of Portal mode. If you join an Infantry Conquest [for example] any vehicle that is not listed/available has their loadouts reset when you leave the match, super annoying.
This is super good info to have! Thank you for posting that. As recently outlined here, we're still investigating a further rare occurrence of this bug. The info you posted is super helpful, so we'll check it out further.

It seems that the HDR option is auto-disabled for the PS5 version of the application. (Image Attached)
FYI, I even tried enabling the option to force HDR in the PS5's system menu, but the HDR is still set to "off" and grayed out on BF2042.
I checked up on this for you. The HDR options actually shouldn't be visible in-game on console. It's enabled automatically if supported, so we have a fix incoming in a future update that removes this option from the menu.
What we'll add in stead is a calibration screen for HDR.
