This is probably the one thing I believe needs to be addressed soonish.
RE your other points, yeah getting farmed isn't fun but there are counters to it that many people have successfully achieved. For one its much easier to shoot pilots out now, hacking helis is a great way to get them to go away, or just stay out of their way entirely (ie indoors). Granted, not all objectives have cover in the right places, but enough of them do that you can still be in the fight exclusively against infantry if you want.
Of course nobody should be un-killable, if you're able to find the right squad you can take out basically anyone with ease. Teamwork is essential, and now that VOIP is a thing it should theoretically be easier to achieve.

I've seen players have unlimited anti-missile flares making it nearly impossible to hit a fast, high flying nightbird. Not sure if it is a hack or what.
- edgecrusherO03 years agoSeasoned Ace@Baku620 Feel like I'm seeing the same thing...get into matches and I don't mind forcing flares to push air away from combat but...its all flares, all the time, seemingly with little downtime for them.
Absolutely infuriating. The air vs. ground balance in this game sucks and there's no proper counter to air from ground, only from other air. And if your team doesn't have good pilots you're literally just going to get wrecked.- 3 years ago

I totally agree with you. Also, they can hit us from higher heights than we can aim to hit them. SOFLAM has a limited range, the zoom is just aesthetic and individual, even if you see the enemy, it doesn't expose them on the map and it doesn't count as a hostile sighting. 🤭

They extended the time the flares deflect rockets, therefore making them nearly available again as soon as the flares quit spitting out. Air vehicles in general are harder to take down via a lock-on type defense. I personally feel they majorly screwed up vehicle balancing with 4.0. It was bad before but now it's worse.
- edgecrusherO03 years agoSeasoned Ace@dc12O3 For reals? That explains why I haven't actually taken down a single aircraft since the patch. I'll do some damage that they know they can safely take but that's about it.
* air is garbage in this game. The only actual counter to air is...other air, because any ground counters are largely easily countered by "bust flares and fly out of range/site". Unless you can somehow coordinate 4+ people hitting it with stingers while flares are down at the exact same time (lol good luck getting your whole squad to do this with randoms) they genuinely feel unkillable from ground if the pilot has half a brain.
Just watching air steamroll matches when the other team doesn't have good pilots is boring and lame and sucks. Even when you're on the winning team.
