M416 really needs some buff. There's no reason to use this weapon in the game in this moment. At any situation the M16 or G36 will be better.

This update will be the small "hotfix" 5.0.1 (notice the 1 in the third decimal, kind of like a "hundredth" place) and will be this week. The NEXT update is 5.1.0 coming later in a few weeks. That is a bigger planned update, hence the way it's numbered with the 1 in the "tenth" decimal place.
Basically they're saying "Here's this small hotfix while we work on rolling out the next, bigger planned patch in a few weeks"
