Hey Folks -

We have updated ticket values for Attackers in Breakthrough as part of a backend update on our servers this morning.

Over recent weeks, we have been monitoring match outcomes and observed that the attacking team often started with the maximum number of reinforcements in the final sector, which is neither balanced, nail-biting, nor fair for the opposing team.

The purpose of this change is to help even out the odds and create a more exciting experience throughout the match, especially in the final sectors.

On 128 Player layouts, the attacking team will now start with a slightly increased ticket count, but subsequently receive less tickets per sector.

On 64 Player layouts, attackers will receive less tickets per sector, but will also start with less initial tickets to help address a wider gap in the balance.

Here's a complete breakdown of the changes.

We'll be monitoring these changes to ensure that it's producing healthier rounds, and will let you know if we need to make further adjustments in the future.

  • I don’t know where to leave a review so I’m just going to do it here: I deeply deeply DEEPLY appreciate the fact you put casual breakthrough in this game. I suck in normal servers and it can be seriously discouraging but the fact that you added bots and people into the mix has given me such great confidence and I thank you so much for being there for those who aren’t as good as normal battlefield players. I’ve been playing since I was 11 when battlefield 3 was out I wasn’t so good then either but it was such a good game I made me question call of duty because it’s incomparable. But now I can be happy about getting a bunch of kills not and people alike and feel like those streamers that rip apart the opposition please don’t take it away I literally love this mode and I hope it can be incorporated into other other game modes like conquest and rush with different maps. Thank you so much. I deeply appreciate your consideration for what it’s worth. I k ow others are way better and probably more important but this game mode has changed the whole gaming experience for me and I love y’all for that. Thank you so much.
