So following this update, here are some of the more immediate issues i've been seeing.
- There is still intermittant rubber banding & desync issues. (No its not my internet, im on gigabit fibre and only a few hops away and an MTR to your server shows no packet loss)
- Deploy screen still has a loadout bug where it doesnt have your loadouts. You have to exit game (you can create a custom loadout, but it misses your attachments and messes up your existing loadouts).
- When dying and returned to deploy screen, stuck in the deploy screen and cannot do anything but Alt+F4 and relaunch the game.
- Still when running and sliding, you get stuck in crouched position and other players cannot see your name so you look like an enemy. Have to die and respawn.
- Error about 'persistance data' when joining game.
- Helicopter/Jet - Often doesnt notify you that its locking/locked on, even though if you fire its already locked.
- Helicopter/Jet - Often says 'Locking on' when the missile hits you, It never says incoming missile, by which time its too late to use defenses.
- HoverTankWTF - Can still drive up the side of buildings. Can still drive up icewalls and cliff faces.Turret should be more restricted in movement (e.g 120 degrees) and should be slower to accelerate. Penalise them for not facing the enemy.
- Nighthawk / Littlebird - Far too many rockets and/or reload speed. Less rockets and slower reload speed.
- Nighthawk / Littlebird - Rockets shouldnt stun infantry in place so you cant move.
- General Infantry - Slide mechanic should be improved. Not as aggresive as beta, but its horrible how it is right now. Or at least to some operators who are about movement like Sundance and McKay
- Sniper rifles should have more bullet drop. Currently players are just sitting 1km away with 2mm of drop.
- Spawning - Let us be able to cancel the weapon inspection instantly when spawning.
- PP-29.....need we say more. An SMG shouldnt be out-gunning every assault rifle past 10m.
- SVK needs something done to it....either a 3 shot body kill, or slower between shots or something.
- Rangers often seem to be completely invinicble to SMGs. They also lock on through cover (bushes etc..) and at ridiculous distances.
- Navin Rao's hack is very flakey. Often says Hack Completed when it hasnt. Sometimes complete the hack and weapon systems are still active. Also shorten hack time a bit, or more forgiving on objects. Often can still see the vehicle over the top of an object, or they go past a pole and you lose it.
- Infantry Maps - We desperately need some more infantry focused maps to break up the vehicle farming. Some TDM maps are being stood up in Portal but we need some official infantry maps.
- Map rotation - We need to either be able to join a playlist, or have a server browser. Many streamers are facing the same issues we as players are, where you play the same 2-3 maps for 4 hours.
- Lack of Social interaction - This is a big topic of discussion, because it is killing the battlefield community. No voice chat. No all chat. No leaderboards. No MVP squads. Cannot squad up unless youre friends on EA and create a party. You also cannot join on friends to be in the same game wether youre on the same team or the enemy team. Battlefield has always been about community and social interaction. Toxic players can still be toxic without these things by abusing game mechanics or just being a douche (the amount of times ive been tbag'd by a player that didnt even kill me...), it does more harm than it does good trying to appease the social justice warriors.

The biggest issue for Breakthrough....
- Stop letting defenders air drop vehicles on the roofs!!!! Was this even play tested? Its ridiculous, its about a 5% Win rate honestly....stop the ability to call in vehicles on top of roofs. You already disallow it when under cover.
- Defending infantry shouldnt be able to sit 200-300m out of the playzone in their "outcap" sniping. e.g 2nd sector of Manifest, infantry sit at the top of radio towers sniping constantly behind shields, with resupply crates. Also on the 3rd point they just sit in outcap where you cant engage them other than your air support.

Very well said. I would also add that it would be more beneficial to have a higher update/patch frequency for this game. At least for the first week or so. Rather than have the game out in such an unplayable state, it would be worth the frequent downtime to get things straightened out. Especially for issues that require you to close the game completely just for it to work. After playing early access from Day 1, I feel bad for anyone who is just now playing the game for the first time. And especially those who don’t come from a BF background (or haven’t been since BC2).
- 4 years ago@JarskyPlays All good! but the ultimate quick fix Imho would be maiking the game accessible for a starter... nothing to object on your good list... it's just very frustrating for all who can't even access the game for a starter. This is so provoking/ignored and arrogant managed by EA...
