Oh my god, I am BEGGING you, @Straatford87 , whoever, PLEASE HOTFIX THE AIR TRANSPORT CATEGORY. Every single match. Is DOMINATED by these impossible to take down, flying fortress, overpowered, raid boss vehicles. I have not known peace since this patch dropped now that certain maps can have 3 of these on each team, which means SIX TOTAL, flying around, dominating every single player, point, and vehicle in the entire game. You buffed the 50mm. I dont know why you would do this, I am sure feedback told you this gun is already broken. It defeats all vehicles, even anti air, they are mobile enough to avoid AA missiles and tank three of them with some light repairs, and are unstoppable without a very high level of coordination with your team. They also are constantly respawning, meaning the skies almost always have at least 1 flying around. They have too much health. they are too powerful. they are actively ruining the game more than littlebirds were (since they actually have to run from AA missiles or get 1 shot by rockets/tanks). This patch has been awesome, except for this horrific mistake. I don't even want to play because I can not ignore these things flying around, so I waste my time and energy attempting to shoot them, which is futile.

@qsquadilious @Straatford87 See, this keeps coming up over and over again. It seems many people feel the same about the transports. These vehicles should be just that (transports), not these "air tanks". I mentioned this not long ago. They should have minimal gun power and air superiority. They are not attack vehicles. They can evade and flair and regen health way quicker than any air vehicle or the wildcat can lock onto them. It takes literally a dozen people coordinating to lock onto them (hoping to not get killed in the mean time) with AA launchers and that's honestly an impossible feat. Teams rarely work in sync that way, which is why it's such a huge frustration to many of us.
I agree with many others that this patch has been a breath of fresh air and much needed and it gives hope to what many of us have been looking forward to. But, the vehicles still need major balancing.
- 4 years ago@dc12O3 They don't seem to understand that we DO NOT need fewer vehicles-- we need more vehicles and ways for infantry to counter them. It is ridiculous that they just will not follow the examples set in BF3/4.
