Another issue (on PC anyway) is that VOIP gets reset to "party" when you squad up with a friend and the only way to change it back to "squad" is to go back into the settings once a match has started and change it. It resets each time. I can't imagine this is by design. This prevents you from ever being able to talk to your squadmates and defeats the point of VOIP. No way I'm going into the settings every single match and changing this.

    Why not? VOIP feels incredibly rushed despite being released 6 months post-launch. There is no option to select specific input/output devices for voice-chat, for example.

    I guess we have to wait another few months, or more, for improvements to get VOIP up to an acceptable level of performance for a AAA game released in the year 2021 (2022 now, DICE you should probably update the copyright on the loading screen).
