From 16 January, choose your journey through a Team of the Year-chained Evolution. What does your team need most, a colossal CDM to protect the back line, a box-to-box CM to bridge the gap between defence and attack, or a magic CAM to pull the strings in the final third? The choice is yours.
Begin by choosing an eligible Player Item (Max 86 OVR/Max 4 Positions) and start their path through the Build your TOTY HM EVO 1. Once they have the TOTY HM Evolution Item Rarity, depending on your player’s position or alternate position, they’ll now qualify for the TOTY HM CAM Builder (Rewards Finesse PlayStyle+), the TOTY HM CM Builder (Rewards Tiki Taka PlayStyle+), or the TOTY HM CDM Builder (Rewards Anticipate PlayStyle+). But your TOTY HM journey doesn’t end there.
After completing the above, your eligible TOTY HM Evolution Player Item will now qualify for a potential second PlayStyle+, beginning 23 January. Options include the First Touch PlayStyle+, Long Ball PlayStyle+, or the Press Proven PlayStyle+.
To give you more options than ever, players that login to Football Ultimate Team™ during the campaign will be granted 3 different Evolution consumables (Max 86 OVR/Max 3 Positions/Max 90 PAC) that grant position changes from ST->CAM, LM/RM->CM, or CB->CDM. Make sure to apply these before starting the Build your TOTY HM Evolution experience.

Q. There are multiple Evolutions, can I use multiple players in this Evolution?
No - The first player you choose will be the only player eligible. Remaining Evolutions will require you to have the TOTY HM Evo item rarity.

Q. Do I need to complete the Evolutions in order?
Yes - you need to complete the 'Build your TOTY HM Evo' to earn the TOTY HM Evo rarity for your player. Once you have the rarity you can move onto CAM/CM/CDM Builder, and then you can choose between the final 3 Evolutions for your 2nd PS+ releasing on Friday January 23rd.
Q. My Player already has 1 PS+, what happens if I submit them into this?
Your player item would only get one additional PS+, they would be able to add a second PS+ in the final 3 Evolutions for the second PS+ releasing on Friday January 23rd. If you submit a player who has no PlayStyle+’s, your player will receive both PS+ upgrades.
Q. What will be my players final OVR?
Your player item's final OVR after completing the multi-step Evolution journey would be 89.
Q. I was granted 3 Evolution Position Consumables (ST -> CAM, LM/RM -> CM, CB -> CDM), do I need to use them on this Evolution?
No, you are free to use these consumables on any qualified player item, these do not grant you the TOTY HM Evo rarity.
