Community ManagerWhat is your first memory of Plants vs Zombies? Probably finding it on a platform called IWin back in like early 2010, then receiving the DS version for Christmas 2011. I even wrote an high school essay on PVZ1 Vs. Mode as a senior.
What is your favourite Plants vs Zombies game? Either the original or Garden Warfare 2, PVZ1 simply was so incredibly well done that it set a nearly impossibly high bar to beat, that Garden Warfare 2 met and Garden Warfare 1, PVZ2 up until like 2022, and Heroes Pre-2024-Balance update weren't that far off. As for BFN, it's the weakest of the current International PVZ games, and 2020 PVZ3 looked interesting, but it was never in my country.
What is your favourite character of the whole franchise? Plant: Winter Melon, Zombie: Either Pizza Delivery Zombie or Super Brainz, Other: Crazy Dave (Specifically PVZ1 Crazy Dave)
What was your favourite interaction with other players? Probably the more recent community projects, like PVZ2Reflourished, PVZTravel, PVZ2Altverz, and PVZBloomandDoom.
Do you own any Plants vs Zombies merch? I had a Tshirt like a decade ago that is probably gone forever, some older figures from like 2011 or 2012, and a handful of comics, including IIRC 2 copies of the first Garden Warfare comic. Oh yea, also a lot of the K'nex figures from series 1-3.
What is your funniest or best memory? Funniest goes to the sheer desperation of Wolfy Playz trying to keep a Twin Sunflower in Column 8 from dying and failing constantly.
Anything else to share? The reason people enjoy PVZ1 is how competently made it was, feeling full and flowing with soul. The path PVZ3 is currently going has the feel of a confused monkey. The reason people enjoy PVZ Fusion is how it's unafraid to go wild as it's independent heart wanted to be. I believe that PVZ games should have quality on par with PVZ1, adding features that feel like it makes sense for the game, including VS. Mode like the original and official support on multiple platforms. There also needs to be enough concepts, old and new, for Plants, Zombies, and Enviromental effects to make enough strategies on both sides to keep things interesting. Also cand we get an official PVZ level maker PLZ?
