Blog Post
I don't even know where to begin with Plants vs Zombies, it's a franchise I've been closely following ever since its inception, and it's been amazing to be here every step of the way. Only in the past few months have I actively gotten involved in the community, and it's made me fall in love with it even more! I'll go ahead and let my answers to the prompts do all the talking. :D
What is your first memory of Plants vs Zombies? Back in 2009, I'll never forget replaying the adventure and finding the Yeti Zombie. Filling out the Almanac after so many hours of playtime was an amazing achievement as a kid.
What is your favourite Plants vs Zombies game? It's honestly quite tough to say, as I'm a huge fan of both the tower defense games and the shooter games. Though if one has to win, I gotta give it to Garden Warfare 2. Not only has it been an incredibly enjoyable game for the entirety of its nearly 10-year lifespan, but it's also solely responsible for helping me build up an entire YouTube career and get me integrated into the community!
What is your favourite character of the whole franchise? I don't know what it is, but the lightning characters like Power Flower and Lightning Reed have always stood out to me. There's something so satisfying about playing around with them in any of the games.
What was your favourite interaction with other players? Whenever I find the time, I live stream myself playing Garden Warfare 2, encouraging others to join me. The streams are always so much fun, but my favorite interaction has to come from the time I suggested that each team pick a specific class and stick to it. We got to learn who won in matchups like All-Stars vs. Chompers (and I think you can probably guess who came out on top). I don't think I'll ever forget the feeling of leading the Chomper charge.
Do you own any Plants vs Zombies merch? I wish I had gotten more PvZ merch back when I was younger, so I was sure to jump on the opportunity when the Peashooter Youtooz figure released. Also, while I'm not the one who owns it, a friend of mine happened upon the PvZ Risk board game, and I still have a lot of fun busting that open and playing a few rounds with him from time to time.
What is your funniest or best memory? While my funniest memory has to go to my earlier mention of the Chomper charge, my best one has to go to the recent GW2 Creator Collab that I got to take part in. It was wild to see a lobby filled with so many talented creators, many of whom I'd been watching ever since I was a kid.
Anything else to share? To close off, I'm sure you've seen plenty of comments about this before, but I want to mention that the people wishing for more Garden Warfare aren't just a vocal minority; they're a surprisingly large and passionate community. Heck, I feel like the unprecedented growth of my channel (200 -> 25k subs in 8 months, it's genuinely unbelievable) is a great testament to that. After nearly a decade, Garden Warfare fans are still here!
Anyway, that wraps up my wall of text. Thanks for making so much of my childhood! :D

Couldn’t agree more Flare. The community that has been built around these games, especially the shooters, is like none other
