What is your first memory of Plants vs Zombies? I most likely did interact with the original PvZ on mobile many years ago, but the first activity I vividly remember with PvZ was probably when PvZ2's Dark Ages Part 1 came out and I started playing the game. I played the game with a passion until the end of the adventure.
What is your favourite Plants vs Zombies game? Launching myself at lightning speeds across the map every few seconds with both of Acorn's Sap Trap upgrades active in Battle For Neighborville has to be some of the most fun I've ever had with PvZ as a whole and along with it's cool story campaigns it's enough to elevate that game above the rest for me.
What is your favourite character of the whole franchise? When I think about what character in PvZ could be my favourite, my mind goes immediately to Major Sweetie. Such a striking contrast in personality to every other in the series. I also enjoyed the characterization of Citron in the Garden Warfare comic from Dark Horse. Mechanically, I'd pick Aloe from PvZ2, such a helpful little fella.
What was your favourite interaction with other players? With a squad of players who are at the same wavelength with you in the shooter games, you can be unstoppable! There are far too many moments to list of absolute player synergy melting the opposition.
Do you own any Plants vs Zombies merch? I happen to own a trio of Zombie plushies! Jester, Breakdancer and Bass Zombies are all sitting proudly on my shelf.
What is your funniest or best memory? Best? I'd say fighting Major Problem in Battle For Neighborville. The tension and scale of the duel invoked the feeling of the original PvZ1 Zomboss fight in a really fun way to me. Every duel in Driftwood Shores' final objective surrounding The Mega Flower in GW1, whether i was a Zombie or Plant, comes at a very close second. Funniest? Probably getting rickrolled in PvZ2 by the dialogue leading up to Neon Mixtape Tour's Zomboss fight.
Anything else to share? The creative community surrounding PvZ2 has been shining brightly in recent years. I wanted to highlight experiences created by PopCap with my answers, but the fan community deserves it's own enormous honorable mention!
