Thanks, Ea Cath, for the opportunity!
What is your first memory of Plants vs Zombies? The tower defense game. Light-hearted, challenging, and easy to pick up and play.
My favorite game is PVZ GW2, without a doubt. Interestingly, I originally purchased GW1 for my children, as they enjoyed the tower defense game characters. When my son, who was eight at the time, discovered it was a shooter-based game, I became intrigued. It featured accurate aiming for its time, impressive detail, and managed to compete with major 3rd person multiplayer shooters of the era in terms of replay value. Unlike games such as MW, COD, or Destiny, it lacked the overly competitive or unnecessarily complex button combinations. Then GW2 came out and that was it. Hooked
My favorite character in the franchise? Crazy Dave. The newspaper zombie is a close 2nd
My favorite interaction with other players? To this day i still have a small team that plays 3 nights of the week, I play with some of the same people that i did 16 years ago, but to narrow it down to one interaction would have to be in a gw2 moment when we had all the players from both teams met in the middle of a gnomb bomb game and had a dance off for a good 4 or 5 minutes
Do I own any PvZ Merch? Yes. I am a huge fan if you haven't noticed already, i have the full Diamond Select Toys figurine collection and The Cactus Popper all in box, and a Peashooter T-shirt along with aftermarket stickers and controller skins, and a random Super Brainz that looks like a McDonald's toy.
Anything else to share? I believe the GW franchise has enormous potential. With the right marketing, a new audience of players can be reached. Today, with players getting in their 50s 60s + it is not uncommon to see this demographic populating more games like this! Not all gamers are 20 to 40..
Again, THANKS EA CATH!
