Hey there Porch Pals! 🌱💚

Title Update 1 is here, and there’s a lot to it! This time, we focused on improving the look and feel of PvZ3, which we couldn’t have done without all the great feedback from the community. We’re planning updates to gameplay for future releases, so stay tuned for that. Whether you’re playing in one of our Early Access regions, or following along with our updates until we’re ready to bring your region into the yard, thank you always for helping us shape the game to be the best it can be! We’ll have more updates to gameplay in future updates. With that, let’s take a look at the changes we’ve made this time:

Introducing the Sticker Book 📘

As you level up plants, progress through the Plant Pass, or unlock achievements, you’ll unlock stickers featuring plants for your in-game profile picture. During negotiations with the plants, they suggested that we create stickers of increasing flashiness for each of them.  Obviously, we complied. Which is why there are 5 different levels of flashiness or rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

To keep track of this collection alongside other references, we’ve added a Sticker Book section to your Almanac. Yes, it’s a book within a book.

 In-Game Achievements Have Arrived 🏆

This new feature tracks your milestones across Neighborville and rewards you for completing certain tasks and objectives. An example of this would be “Electrocute a Hiker Buckethead with a Zaptail”.

Some are straightforward, but others may test your plantitude. Prepare to grow into a true Garden Guru!

All Your Goals in One Place ⭐

With Sticker Book and Achievements added to the mix, there’s a lot to keep track of. We noticed that too. That’s why we added a unified Goals Hub to help you track your goals and progress in:

  • Plant Pass
  • Daily Top Scores
  • Neighborville Watch
  • Achievements
  • Sticker Book & Events

Neighborville officials recommend starting here. They were very persuasive about it.

Events Are Taking Root 🌱

As we get closer to our worldwide launch, we wanted to make it easier for newer players to settle into Neighborville. New players will now experience a 7-day event called “Dave’s Daily Do-Its” in the new “Events Hub”.

Crazy Dave insisted on this being a warm greeting, before he got distracted. We’re pretty sure that’s what he was saying. And OG Neighborville residents shouldn’t fret because you will also get access to this event, with some goals being retroactively completed based on your progress.

We’ve also made several behind-the-scenes improvements to keep things running smoothly and prepare for even more garden chaos ahead.

Yes, We’re Growing 🌿

Wondering where the new plants and levels have been hiding? Before introducing new content, Neighborville officials insisted we reinforce the foundations, organize the Ducky Tubes, and ensure safe passage for new arrivals. With everything properly planted, Content Update 2 (CU2) is coming next week with a new Plant Pass, new levels, and more.
