TIE Dagger Update Part 3

Hi Holotable Heroes,

As promised we are making an adjustment to the TIE Dagger in order for it to perform better in mirror matches against another Leviathan. The current optimal counter of Sith Fighter leaves Leviathan exposed to a Punishing One/Executor Fleet. Running TIE Dagger counters Punishing One and now should also not be a liability in a mirror match against another Leviathan.

Old TIE Dagger Crew Ability:

Eradicate the Weak

`At the start of the battle or when Reinforced, for each active Sith ally (including the Capital Ship), TIE Dagger gains 20% Max Protection and 10% Tenacity until the end of the encounter. The first time each enemy falls below 100% Health, TIE Dagger gains 25 Defense Penetration (stacking) for the rest of the encounter.

Whenever TIE Dagger uses a Basic ability against an enemy with less than 100% Health, score a critical hit if possible. Whenever another ally attacks an enemy with a Concussion Mine, TIE Dagger assists dealing 50% less damage (once per turn). At the start of TIE Dagger's turn, recover 20% Protection per enemy with less than 100% Health.`

This is two changes to the ability. The most obvious one being the new line being added of: If the allied Capital Ship is Sith, while TIE Dagger is active, enemy Dark Side Ships can't gain Turn Meter (including the Capital Ship).

The other change is doubling the Max Protection gain from 20% to 40%.

These changes will not require the player to additionally invest in their TIE Dagger, they are purely additions to the ability, and not new abilities or new ability tiers.

We feel that both of these changes will cement the Leviathan as a fleet that is difficult to counter, ensuring that your investment into this difficult-to-acquire Capital Ship is recognized.

As with all things, we will monitor this change and adjust accordingly if necessary, but we are currently happy with how this change landed in testing.
