A week on The Sims Forums
Sul Sul friends!
Another Friday, another week done! Any exciting plans ahead? I will be dog sitting this weekend, so I hope my dog will agree to share with a roommate for a couple of days 😅
Let's do a quick catchup first:
- 🎁 On Monday, a giveaway was announced on The Sims’ Twitter page, make sure to take a look for a chance to win an Expansion Pack of your choice!
- 📑 On Thursday a new base update was made available, and console players can now access the Marketplace! You can catch up on the patch notes here.

And now let’s jump into the Highlights!
- 🐮 AaronRulz78 has been creating a sim living with all the animals available in the game, such as horses, cows, chickens, cats and dogs, and is wondering if this idea is too crazy… If you’re asking me, willingly choosing to live solely with animals is a very respectable choice! They are cute, they don’t make drama, what more can you ask for? I think what is actually crazy is not adding even more animals to the household 🤭 I’m glad to see in the replies that a lot of you have picked the same lifestyle choices for your sims, and it’s great to share tips and advice regarding animal care! Do you also like to play with lots of animals? Make sure to showcase your furry families with us!

🏘️ The Petite Alsace Sims 3 World Collaboration is still on-going and the latest addition by Sandraelle is worth checking out, Maison Fleuve. Inspired by a real house located in the French city of Colmar located at the German border, this family home is simply stunning! The front backyard is full of colours thanks to the various flower patches, while a large river flows through the back garden for a perfect serene and quiet atmosphere 🌊 The house includes double and single bedrooms, a nursery, an office, a play room and even a garage: perfect for a large family with children for a vacation or a permanent residence!

🏢 Next, SummerCaliSkye is asking you what skills, aspirations, careers or any other options that you always forget about? I tend to forget about careers, even the most common ones, because my sims always receive a massive amount of money from the Motherlode Gods upon moving into their first lot 😆 When it comes to skills I simply forget about fishing, because I hate fishing in any type of games 😩 It looks like everyone has a different perspective about forgettable skills or careers: baking, charisma, doctor, freelance careers… and I’m sure that half of you would be using those traits or careers all the time! It’s always fun to see how everyone plays the game differently.

🧒 Teens are always a fun addition to a game, and this week simgirl1010 wants you to share all your gameplays and discoveries regarding your favourite adolescents. Between parents and school pressure, maintaining friendships, starting to get their independence, the life of a teen is full of fun and not so fun surprises. Simgirl1010 is introducing Amelia, the daughter of a Global Superstar, which must have a lot of benefits but must also come with a lot of pressure! Whatever Amelia decides to do with her life, I’m sure she will make the choice that makes her happy! Don't hesitate to showcase your teenagers in the thread!

👑 Finally, are you in need of a Royal Residence for your next Noble household? Cevans1962 has you covered with the stunning Giardino Del Grandioso located in Ondarion. Darker colours are the theme of this build, with dark stone walls, black wallpapers and matching furniture for a nice gothic look 🖤 This build can welcome 7 guests as it contains plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as entertainment amenities such as ball rooms, indoor swimming pools and more, so make sure to check it out!
And that concludes another busy week! I hope everyone enjoys an exciting or relaxing weekend, whichever suits your vibes ✨
