Yes, my game can launch normally.
2. Does the game load, but buildings, lots, worlds, or Sims are missing?
Yes, some lots and households are not accessible while others can load. But all neighboring lots revert to its default thumbails and appearance no matter what I have changed them into.
3. Is this happening to every save, or one specific save?
Yes, it happens to all my existing saves after 2025 August Updates no matter how I try to Recover them to older versions, ranging from 2025 to 2023 saves. This method helped to save my game in 2024 Dec. once, but it doesn't work this time anymore.
4. Does this happen on new saves as well?
No, new save work normally. But as a 15-year Sims player, I have devoted more than ten years into my current save and stick to it with all my families since the beginning for all these years... I cannot accept the option to abandon it and start all over again.
5. Do you use mods?
Yes, I used mods like MCCC, adeepindigo, LittleMsSam, Lumpinou, etc. But I have tried multiple times without all CC and mods on all old saves, nothing worked.
6. Does the issue persist after repair?
Yes, I have tried repaire, uninstall new packs and reinstall the game, it is not the cause.

Hello dear EA_Solaire . I have uploaded several my saves ranging from 2025 to 2024, all of which I have tested without mods and CC but still corrupt after August updates. I haven't played Sims 4 for 3 months. These saves functioned normally before and I didn't change anything after later updates, but now in all of them, neighboring lots show default thumbnails and some lots/households cannot be loaded with endless loading screen, e.g. Everdew from Innisgree.

The save named Slot_0000000d.save is what I successfully restored from 2023 Dec.2 save, which now I haven't noticed corruption yet. But it's two years ago, lost all progress afterwards.
The save named Slot_000999ad.save is what I have played all the time until Aug.4 2025 last time since the launch of Sims 4, with countless days and devotion of emotions for ten years. I haven't touched or changed anything after that day. But all my saves after 2024 including this main one are suddenly corrupt now.
I sincerely hope EA can fix this save corruption issue asap. It's so serious and devastating for loyal players.... I can't imagine starting all over again, that completely destroys my interest and passion for this game.
