Community ManagerThe holidays to me is a time to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, that is the birth of my savior, Jesus! Growing up in a traditional faith filled family, we always embraced learning about and celebrating this as Jesus’s birthday! We also have our fun, traditional and modern ways of celebrating, more like most people in the USA, here! This includes lots of family time, listening to Christmas music, having a gift exchange with our close family on Christmas Eve. I also have a day where my sister and I plan to get together and bake lots of Christmas cookies together!
to me the holidays mean so much. It’s my favorite time of year. It allows us to focus on the good over the bad in the world, do celebrate traditionally and modernly, to observe it spiritually and in fun lighthearted ways…it’s full of nostalgia, childhood memories, and that special Christmas time feeling that’s the closest to magic I think I have felt in the world! Plus-who doesn’t love giving gifts (and I’ll admit, receiving them, too? P.S… we always gift my one grandma at least one gnome every holiday or event and Christmas is one of them and so when that came out on sims my sister and I were laughing so hard at the irony!)! And to continue, who doesn’t love good food (but more importantly)- CHRISTMAS CALORIES DON’T COUNT (I’m looking at those Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes, and loads of homemade and store bought seasonal and regular baked goodies!!! Warm and sweet and salty and yummy! All the good things!)…, Christmas music…SNOW AND SNOW DAYS AS A KID! AND LET ME JUST SAY…that feeling of leaving school a little early half way through the week…that day you looked forward to as it felt like it so slowly ever approached and you just could almost feel the joy bubbling up inside of you? CHRISTMAS BREAK WAS THE BEST FEELING EVER😭 almost like the feeling of the scholastic book fairs!🥺🥹🫶💞👩🏫📚📚
AND OF COURSE…BINGE PLAYING SIMS WITH MY SISTER FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD!!!!
