The holidays is the only time I get to spend time with old/college friends.  We make sure that we see each other since it's only once a year.  I'm 46 and usually all year long it's just work and home is the routine.  When it's the holidays, it's also the only time my family gets together, not thinking of anything but just being grateful that we have this chance to spend time with them.

Holidays is the best way to pause and remind ourselves that amidst our busy life, family and friends is still the priority.
