Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After finish a potion trying to bottle up or bottle all up. What happens when the bug occurs? The potion bottles up in a red plastic cup instead of their proper bottle. What do you expect to see? To potions be correctly put in their own bottles, not in a red plastic cup. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No So it was my own version of Halloween in the game and my sim was making potions in the cauldron, finished it and then I noted this: So I went to the inventory and the bottle of the potion looked fine: I tried to place it in the world and it seemed fine while I dragged it, but after I put it off my sims inventory was again a red plastic cup: This was the second time that it happen, the first time was with other potion the same sims day, I re-do the potion and saved just my sim finished it, before “bottle up” interaction and repair my game, then went back and while bottling up the bug was still there; regardless, I have photos of that first potion: Apparently this happens now that I try to make new potions, to be honest I don't think it has to do anything with the update because the proper-bottled potions that is in the photos is the last one that I did in this safe after the update, and I already was playing in the latest version for a while, I'm not sure if it has to be with any of my mods, especially the scripted ones, I removed them but I'm going to keep testing, I just wanted to post the bug as soon as I noticed. Make sim go to university (My sim did physics) 2. Enroll for classes and go to optional elective classes (without the Nifty Knitting pack) 3. Choose the course XTREME KNITTING What happens when the bug occurs? My sim gets offered the elective class XTREME KNITTING without owning the pack. When enrolled, the sim gets the knitting skill even though they can't do anything with it without the pack. What do you expect to see? The course XTREME KNITTING not offered to players, who don't have the Nifty Knitting pack. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. [FIXED] [CoL] Growth fertilizers are not consumed and have no effect on crops

Obtain Hyper Growth Fertilizer or Minor Growth Fertilizer either through normal Cottage Living gameplay or direct from Debug Build/Buy. Attempt to use it to fertilize growing oversized crops. What happens when the bug occurs? The can of fertilizer will pop back into your inventory without being consumed and the plants will not be fertilized (they don't have the swirling glow indicating that they've been fertilized). What do you expect to see? The fertilizer should be consumed on use, just like all the other types of fertilizer are, and they should have some kind of effect as described on your plants, i.e. they boost growth chances for larger crops. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No As far as I can tell, it's been like this since the launch of Cottage Living. When I examined the tuning files for the fertilize action, there are effects outcomes described for every type of fertilizer except for the Minor Growth and Hyper Growth. There's nothing listed for them at all, which is why the game ignores them because it can't find what it's supposed to do and they don't have any function at all. It's almost like they were missed out as an oversight? If anyone on PC/Mac is ok with mods, I've put up a fix for this on my mod site, which you can find linked in the pinned suggested game fixing mods thread. Since there's no info about them in the tuning files, I tried to guess what they should do based on their catalogue description and made them incrementally boost the chance of growing large size/weight crops when used. This is because the other fertilizers are vitality (increase quality and health), grow fast (increase crop speed of growth) and hassle-free (reduce need for maintenance). The Sims fingers on the right hand will have grey/white paint on his fingertips What do you expect to see? I got the notice that the tenant was vacating on their own. The tenants name no longer displays next to the unit, but the game keeps thinking the unit is occupied. I cant rent it again, I cant edit it in build mode, and I cant change the lot type because the game thinks I still have a tenant renting. What do you expect to see? You only seem to get the price of the nectar that hasn't been aged What do you expect to see? For example I was running an art gallery that sold paintings and carved trinkets. What happens when the bug occurs? They walk up to a item for sale and just take it. They don't buy it and I can't replace it like a sold item, its just gone forever. What do you expect to see? Them buy the item like a normal customer, so I can replace it. When loading a save, starting a new game, starting a new scenario, when accessing gallery, the home menu as well as the pack and kits menus What happens when the bug occurs? There are massive bouts of stuttering and lag. Virtually everytthing takes longer than usual to load What do you expect to see? This issue began happening after updating my game to the March 15th, 2022 patch This issue was not present before the March 15th, 2022 update. Did have bits of lag and stuttering here and there which is normal, but nothing like this where the entire game is affected beyond a save Playing Sims 4 on Xbox One and I am experiencing massive lag with the entire game. It is not limited to a save file, its the whole game. Every menu area is lagging, new game sim creation is lagging, scenarios are lagging, new game saves are lagging, current saves are lagging, loading screens lagging. Its not an Xbox ssue, all my other games work fine. I've adjusted several settings and tried many suggestions that I have found and nothing has worked. I updated my Sims 4 to yesterday (March 15th) and played and there was no lag and then played tonight and there is just massive amounts of lag Is anyone else experiencing the same as myself? You get a text offering congratulations on your promotion even though you've not returned from work yet and don't actually know that you've gotten a promotion. What do you expect to see? Not sure you can, but it's definitely affecting my game What happens when the bug occurs? I have a household with 4 members, living in a Micro house. Three of them have the moodlet and get all the effects, but one member of the household doesn't have the moodlet or the benefits. I first noticed it when the neighbors came over and everyone else was besties in a few minutes, but she socialized for much longer and still was only half friendly. And then I noticed that her skill was improving much more slowly than everyone else. Finally I thought to check her movements, and sure enough, that one was missing. What do you expect to see? I expect to see a the same micro home moodlet, fast skill gain, socialization, etc. on every member of my household. I do get all of that for 3 of them, but not for the 4th. Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. After an earlier problem, I deleted my installation and reinstalled everything from scratch just this afternoon. So it's a fresh clean installation of the game and all expansions, game packs, and stuff packs. As you can see in the screen shot, this Sim has no moodlet with a little house on it, despite living in a very teeny tiny crowded house. [IL] Sim+Jetski shakes while in pausemode

By letting the sim driving jetski and pausing the game. What happens when the bug occurs? When the pausemode is on, the jetski+sim are shaking. It gets more worse depending on which angle you're looking at them. In my case looking from the left was more worse than looking from the right. On the right it stopped shaking. What do you expect to see? That it doesn't shake at all when in pausemode. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Day of the Dead Celebrators won't consistently offer sugar skulls

Leave a sugar skull offering and talk to the Day of the Dead Celebrator summoned. What happens when the bug occurs? When a Day of the Dead Celebrator is summoned and befriended, they will frequently refuse to offer a sugar skull, unless Good Friends status is achieved. It is particularly prone to occurring when a Celebrator you have already befriended is summoned for a second or third time. What do you expect to see? Sugar Skulls being offered at "Friends" level all the time, instead of only sometimes. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I'm trying to get the whole Sugar Skull collection, and have been summoning Day of the Dead Celebrators as often as possible. I've found that somewhere around 75% of the time, perhaps a little more often, they will refuse to offer you a sugar skull even if you are friends with them, and you have to invite them to hang out and then push the relationship all the way up to good friends before they'll offer a skull. This doesn't happen all the time, though, so presumably it's not an intended feature. I've also found that if you've summoned somebody as a Celebrator before and have an established relationship with them, they sometimes still won't offer a skull to you on the first request, even if your friendship is at a higher level than where it was when you first received a skull from them. For example, my sim summoned a NPC named Atharv Srivastava and had him at "friends" status when she received a skull for the first time. She then invited him to a house party and built further friendship with him, to just below "Good Friends" level. He later spawned as a Day of the Dead Celebrator, and I requested a skull straight away - thinking that he'd give it with no problems. He didn't. I had to have her build their friendship up to Good Friends before he'd offer the skull. However, the next Celebrator spawned just required a Friendly Introduction (with the Incredibly Friendly trait) and two friendly interactions to offer a skull when asked. Meet/befriend a stray pet you meet in the world. Later, when they're gone, click on them in the friendship panel and choose "Invite over to current lot". Wait until the pet arrives. What happens when the bug occurs? The pet is no longer marked as "stray", which means that interactions like adopt are gone. The pet is still a stray if you meet them later in the world, so they did not get adopted. What do you expect to see? I expect a pet that is a stray is still a stray whether I meet them in the world or invite them. (Yes it's weird that I can invite a stray pet but maybe I sent my own pets to get him/her?) Neutral/Not Sure I don't know if the fix should be that we just can't invite stray pets over, or that the label is made more permanent, but like this it's a bit weird 🐱 🐶 ❤️ (I saw this on youtube and read in several comments that this happened to a lot of people so I searched for it here, didn't find any report, tried it in my own game and it was the same, so I posted this. When I am playing a game I get random notifications about school/work information regarding my sims family that doesn’t make sense (such as a recess notification or bully situation when my family members are at home), and I’m also getting notifications about skill improvements that my sims have not yet acquired. What do you expect to see? I expect to see a notification pop up that tells me what is actually going on during work/school time and notifies me when my sim is actually improving on an acquired skill, no false notifications. [OPEN] Previously unlocked achievements notifying again in batches

Have a save game that has unlocked a bunch of in game achievements (maxed skill, friends with death, 1 sim with 12 traits etc) and have a sim be promoted or have the the NAP voting popup What happens when the bug occurs? Anywhere between 3-8 previously unlocked achievements will spam your screen as though you've just unlocked them for the first time. What do you expect to see? To only be notified of an achievement once, at the time it's unlocked Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Eco Lifestyle This save is 3 generations of scored legacy play, so there have been a lot of achievements unlocked already. I had a sim get a promotion (blue popup) & it launched the centre screen sparkle notification (& green wall notifications) for 5 achievements that had already been unlocked in this save. Then later I had a blue popup regarding the NAP voting closing & it triggered another shower of sparkle notifications & green notifications for multiple achievements long since achieved & previously notified as unlocked. There was another time it happened straight after loading into the save & unpausing. Expansions: All Game Packs: Outdoor Retreat, Dine Out, Spa Day, Strangerville Stuff Packs: My First Pet, Perfect Patio, Moschino, Tiny House Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim eat a plate of food. Queue another action that a Sim is not supposed to do while eating. What happens when the bug occurs? Sims will not queue the action. Instead the Sim will try to multitask while eating. What do you expect to see? The Sim to queue the action. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.66.139.1020 I didn't test this on every action in the game because there are so many. It does happen on every actions I try with.
