Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get a promotion at work
What happens when the bug occurs? You get a text offering congratulations on your promotion even though you've not returned from work yet and don't actually know that you've gotten a promotion.
What do you expect to see? Postpone the texts to after work, or the next day.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Basically you get a spoiler while at work, telling you that you got promoted before you even got home from work and got the announcement that you got promoted.
