Hey @Crispium and @LuckyDucck would you both mind clearing your Origin Cache and then trying the download again to see if it makes a difference.
You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:
- Completely log out and close down Origin
- Hold down the Windows key and R
- Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
- Now open the Origin folder.
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
- Hold down the Windows key and R
- Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
- This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
- Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
- Open the Local folder here
- Delete the Origin folder listed here
- Restart your PC and log back into Origi

That didnt work for me, I still have the hard drive is full error.
If that continues then I may have to refund the game since I can't download anymore DLC for the game.
Actually, after doing this, my Battlefield V doesnt work anymore. Cant find any matches

Hi. Thanks for you taking your time to write this and I dont mean to be rude, but I believe I literally mentioned explicitly in my post that, I have troubleshooted this problem by doing EXACTLY what you said, multiple times, and I has not worked for me. Please read the troubleshooted part to see what I have done, to try to solve this problem. - @EA_Darko this didn't work for me I still get the same message for all dlc
Witcher 3 isn't even eligable for refund, this is so * unacceptable! The game doesn't work properly, and you can't even refund it. I wasted money on the Origin version, and have to buy it on Steam or GOG to get full access to the game. This was my last purchase on Origin!
- @EA_Darko Do you have anything else? Mr. Community Manager?
same thing happened to me yesterday also, did the same troubleshooting and it was with the same game too (witcher 3) and the client wont even let me access origin period rn, everytime i close the error it pops up again instantly and i cant do anything about it

I bought witcher 3 last weekend.
your solution does not work..... -_- ;;
Every time I start Origin up now I get 20 messages saying my hard drive is full even though I have 3.5 TB space available. So having Witcher 3 installed I have to click 20 hard drive full messages before being able to do anything.
- @MikeJezZ This exact same thing happens to me, glad we are on the same boat. I am hoping for a solution, I was lied to by EA support when I contacted them. They specifically said, "This problem is very new and we are working on making a fix." With enough research you can easily see this problem occurred in 2013 as well, and no one fixed it.
Same problem here, bought The Witcher 3 yesterday.
Same problem here. The game downloads, but all DLCs are unavailable and Origin client says "Hard drive is full"!!! Please fix this ORIGIN!!!
Oh hey I've also had this problem with Awakened. Literally just bought it and have spent hours trying to find a solution, seems a lot of people have had problems with it in particular? Base game will install fine, but if I try to include the expansion in the main install or install it separately it just tells me my hard drive is full and refuses to download it.
- @MikeJezZ Same problem here didn't start until today. I'm pissed cause I made it to the last stretch of the game and origin updated automatically overnight. The update uninstalled all my addons and now I can't redownload them and cant continue my save without them. I will never use origin or play ea games again
just tried this and still no luck.... funny thing is now the damned error pops up when i have origin running and i am not downloading or trying to download anything on it
IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.. ANYONE FIND A SOLUTION YET ?

Hey all we are currently investigating this issue.
In order to get to the bottom of it would it be possible for anyone who is seeing the issue to provide an Origin Error Report: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-use-origin-error-reporting/
You can respond here and let me know your Report ID number.
Thanks for your patience.
Darko Make sure that u have enough free space on disk with temp system/user folder (u can check it by Win+r, write cmd /k set t and press enter) and you must have the appropriate permissions to this folder.. Can't tell what is "free space" mean, its depending what kind content will be installed, in some cases u need almost the same "temp space" as it for the full game...
I don't think your link is going to the site where we can submit an error report. I am also having this issue. I have also submitted an error report through the link displayed on the pop-up that says my designated hard disk is full.
I have not been able to play the Witcher 3. In fact, the "Hard Drive is Full" messages keeps popping up so I cannot select any game in my library to play ☹️
Here's my report ID:

Thanks, zensluv4real
So far this mainly seems to be a problem with DLC, and I've seen many of the instances being for Dead Space 3 and in some cases the Witcher 3. I already sent in a report a few days ago (but lost track of the ID number) so I submitted a new one.
The Report ID number is: 10472fd4a017e120
I submitted an error report for the hard drive error issue. Hope this issue gets fixed soon!

Hey all, while the team continue to investigate this issue they have found 2 workarounds which should help till the Origin team finds a permanent solution.
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData, and delete the C:\ProgramData\Origin folder
- Download and install a previous version of Origin: https://origin-a.akamaihd.net/Origin-Client-Download/origin/live/OriginSetup_10_5_41_27263.exe
Accepting as solution for visibility.
Darko
I try to "Download and install a previous version of Origin",
Finally, I can download all DLC of Witcher 3 .
Thanks to EA help & Origin's team .
@EA_DarkoThis works for now. Thanks, Still an older version of origin but for now, it does provide.
@EA_Darko This works for me as a temporary solution as well. I hope this problem can be permanently resolved, thanks for your effort and time.
