@EA_Cade I'm in the client but already have Sims4 Installed, how do I claim a licence as an access member? I can't purchase it in the client either.
@Quartermaine_Q Open a private/incognito browser window, and go to this site:
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/the-sims/the-sims-4
Don't sign in yet, just click the orange button that says "Get it Free" (the text, not the arrow that opens a dropdown menu). On the "choose your edition" screen, click "Get it Free" again, under the Standard Edition, and only then sign in. This should bypass Access entirely and allow you to add it to your account.
@MusyMer44 You can try this way too. If it doesn't work, here are some other approaches that may help:
- I've tried that and it hasn't worked. Now it's saying FAILED_CHECKOUT_QUOTE. Any more suggestions?
@MusyMer44 Try restarting your router. And make sure you don't have any proxies enabled. It may also help to use a mobile device instead of your computer.
If this doesn't help, please let us know what country you're currently in. It seems like players in a couple of countries are having trouble, so it would be good to pass along that information.
It says 5$ why
@PrestoG34 The base game was free last year for about a week. It's not free anymore; $5 is the current sale price. It's normally $40.
the thing is when i go in it says I cant get it free it says pay
I have tried to download the sims 4 for free today on both the EA app and the Origin app, but every time I try it is not available for free. It just says that I have to pay £17.99 to download it.
