Re: [Resolved] PvZ2 failed to startup after update from 6.1.1 to 6.2.1

Hey,

I've merged all of your threads together as you seem to be running into the same issue. First of all I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by this problem, we can see that a lot of you have since managed to get back into the game and I'd like to confirm if that's the case for all of our players.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Roger.

  • Thanks for attention from EA on this! My first attempt got partially done with downloading and then gave the error in the screenshot. Second attempt completed download but got stuck at "applying patch" level of 100.00%. It sat there for 10 minutes before I force quit the app (iOS). Now it seems to be working and I can breathe again. Ha. Thank you!

    Nope still can't get in
  • Hey guys, I tried something and it worked out, so give it a shot if you don't know what else to do.

I back-up my iPhone on the computer (or iCloud if you prefer) and restore iPhone from that back-up.

It worked for me everytime when PvZ2 crashed.

In addition, I also got suggestion from EA, i put it here if someone needs second option:

    "Hello,

We're sorry that you've experienced this issue with your game! Some users have reported that they have been able to get back into the game by resetting their Network Settings.

Please note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN, and APN settings.

    1. Open your Settings App.

    2. Navigate to General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

    3. You will see a prompt that notifies you that you will be deleting all network settings. Select Reset to perform this action. You may be prompted to enter your Passcode.

    4. This will cause the device to reboot. Once your device turns back on, log back into your Settings and reconnect to your Wi-Fi."

    Hope that helps.

    Good luck.

    Hi Roger,
I tried all the solution that was mentioned in this post, but the plants vs zombies 2 still does not open. When it's done loading, it switchs to my Android home screen. I have been unable to play any games for 3 days now. Please help. Thanks a lot!
