@grafton505  There was an older version of Origin that worked with XP and Vista, but that version was sunset a month ago.  It doesn't work anymore, it just throws the error message you're seeing.  The current minimum OS requirement to run any version of Origin is Windows 7 (or macOS 10.9).

If you do decide to upgrade to a newer version of Windows, please make sure your hardware can support it, or check with a specialist.  Many older systems don't run Windows 10 very well, or even at all, and trying to install it could break your computer.
