Re: Support for online-multiplayer split-screen.

Considering this is a family friendly shooter, it would be nice if the parent and child can go online using splitscreen.  I'm pretty sure there are many out there fall into this category.  If I had a kid this would be a feature I'd be screaming for.

In my case, this Garden Warfare 1 is the only game that my wife likes to play since it's "cute" but every time I play with her splitscreen it has to be offline which is not as fun for me.  She is really looking forward to playing GW2 and so am I.  Just wish we can both go online at the same time and on the same console!!  Someone make this happen!!!

If it's too much for the console to handle, then drop the frame rate which is how COD handles this.  I'm sure we can all accept the performance hit for the functionality.

    If CoD can do it and still feel nice and look great, I don't see why this can't.

    Also they need to add split-screen support to the quests from Dave-bot 3000. They lied to us, they said all modes on splitscreen.

    I agree, they said all modes. My son was really upset when he started the game and tried to have me join him in the backyard quests, am it doesn't allow it. There should be no reason we can't do quests together in the backyard. And they really need to change it so that we can play online in splits crew also. They advertised split screen in all modes, but they sure didn't give us that.

    To me, split screen is just two or more camera view points fixed to the character on the map, which could be just rendered once. Then track all players positions and render accordingly on the map.

    However, doing this with a full team of 24 players, (22, if you don't include yourself and your split screen player), might be too much of a load on the hardware, or maybe the servers. Seems unlikely though.

    It would be nice if they would offer their reasons.

    Yeah EA, you say that you want our feedback, well here it is. We want online splitscreen!!!

    Do wie See in the Future, New updates?, the online Splitscreen maybe ?

    anyone know anything ? From reddit ? Or any offiziell side ?
